Ground Shipping:

METHOD #1 (OUR CAR) - Local / Semi-Local: Within the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area, or proximity thereof, we can for a fee, personally deliver your animal to your doorstep.  Depending upon the occasion, we can also "gift wrap" the animal in a collar, ribbon or whatever your desire (no shrinkwrap folks...), including a bath and being parfumed for that special touch and impact on delivery.  Delivery cost would be in addition to any "wrapping, special pre-prep or purchase of accessories" you would request and would be dependent upon your location, how far, when, where, etc.  All costs would dictate our fee and each delivery would be priced on an as needed basis.

Our Personal Delivery would be based on 1-way mileage from our doorstep to yours, being determined by our odometer reading following an approximate route as shown by
Mapquest off the computer.  Even if in Georgia, Florida, Tennesee, Alabama, Mississippi, etc, this rate would rival any air or bus fee (and insurance) that you would incur for the same delivery.  See our Contact Page to enter your address and get a map, directions and approximate mileage between your home and ours.  See below for Personal Delivery Sample Costs from our home in Acworth, GA:

0 to 24 miles - $25
25 to 39 miles - $35
40 to 59 miles - $50
60 to 79 miles - $70
80 to 99 miles - $95

Over 300 miles - Call us and lets make a deal.

(our farthest delivery to date has been 1,400 miles 1-way - to Las Vegas from our old home in Commerce, TX)

METHOD #2 - Bus or UPS:   If necessary, your animal can be placed on a public carrier and again that cost would be based on a case by case basis depending upon ultimate destination and carrier's ability to transport to a specific location.  We cannot guarantee that any ground or air company can deliver animal to "every location in America".  Similar to how Fed-Ex will not deliver to any P.O. Boxes.  Delivery contingent upon shipping temperatures and subject to availability, if any.  No guarantee's here.

METHOD #3 - Airline: When an animal is shipped via Air, we will only ship to a final "HUB" destination within the USA, no Alaska or Hawaii, sorry.  We choose to do this for many reasons.  The biggest and most important is the animals' exposure to stress.  The longer the flight, the more stress the animal will go through, not to mention being ran through baggage claim by strangers, other animals, machinery, loud jets, etc.  NOTE, from time to time many airlines have a boycott in effect for shipping animals.  For this reason, we cannot guarantee if any airline would accept to properly ship your animal, and is subject to availability.  Check these numbers for availability and approximate cost of flight only:

American Airlines (800) 227-4622
Continental Airlines (800) 575-3335
Delta Airlines (888) 736-3738
Northwest Airlines (800) 692-2746
United Airlines (800) 828-8746

When checking with the Airline, ask the question: "Do you fly pets into _________?" and "If you don't fly into ___________, what is the closest HUB to me?".  These questions will save you time and headache's by not beating around the bush.  Also ask about
acceptable shipping temperatures during the period of year you think a shipment may take place.

Insurance / Animal Health:
Insurance is strongly advised to be purchased by you, the buyer.  Purchase insurance through the carrier that will ultimately carry your animal.  Please do this
IN ADVANCE of ship date to avoid any delay in coverage.  Insurance is NOT our (the "seller" or "breeder's") responsibility.  Insurance is solely the buyer's (YOUR) responsibility.  Please understand that we will NOT purchase insurance on any shipment, and that insurance is NOT included in the cost of the animal or in the cost of the delivery cost/fee.  Insurance is an additional purchase item that must be purchased by YOU.  And again, we highly recommend it for any unforseen and unknown reasons.  It is not a requirement, only voluntary.  The cost is minimal compared to the investment in a purebred animal.

The animal's health is only guaranteed up to the point that the animal leaves our physical care, which if we are transporting the animal to you, our care would continue until we hand the animal over to you, or to a public carrier as noted above.  At the point the animal leaves our care, all responsibility of animal's health tranfers to the buyer/owner.  We have no control of animals health after leaving our possession based on where or how animal travels, who or what they are around, what they are stored in, excessive temperatures, caregivers handling, falls during shipment, turbulence, cargo shift, what they are allowed to share with whatever other animals that might have a disease or another animal that was disease stricken on the previous flight, such as Parvo.  Remember, Parvo lives on a surface for up to a year or more unless correctly disinfected.  This includes cargo holds, pet containers, crates, leashes, bowls, rags, rugs, mats, beds, bedding, etc.  These are all out of our control,  All care, veterinary expenses, food, lodging, etc., after an animal leaves our care becomes the sole responsibility of buyer/owner.  We guarantee to ship only healthy animals that are current on all shots and show no signs of illness or distress.  If animal becomes ill, distressed or worse during transport by ground or air, it is not our responsibility once animal leaves our care.

Upon arrival, we strongly recommend you take your animal to your licenced veterinarian within forty-eight (48) hours after he/she arrives for a complete check-up, if not sooner.  Potential dehydration could have occurred or the animal could have picked up a parasite or something while in transport or while being held in quarantine with other animals.  This is also the time to establish a "baseline" with your Vet and get the animal's current health information recorded, and this is a requirement in our Health Guarantee / Contract.  Again, if animal contracts something after it leaves our care, all bills incurred by buyer/owner are the sole responsibility of buyer/owner.  We will not pay any bills for anything for said animal after it leaves our care.  We thank you in advance for your understanding.
