Back Wall - Hello A/C ...
Give this page time to load - There may be more photo's than time allows - Patience... :)

Even more cutting and screws to make the back side wall. See it there on the floor? Mr. Brandon is working so hard. "What do you think, Brandon? Have you lost any weight in the blazing heat?" I have... "whew..."
A much needed break - WOW, does that ice-water hit the spot. Thanks a lot for your support honey...
Okay, "smile" -- You know, if this thing will hold this or more people, just think what the little weiner dogs are going to think... It will be huge to them - and of course, air-conditioned. Mmmmm.... Oooooo.... Ahhhhh....
More screws. Let's get that side together. We don't have all day.
Speaking of "day" - it's getting dark. Let Uncle Mike in there to speed the process and to give a hot & sweaty boy a break from the fast pace. Forgot to turn on the "flash"...
SAFETY WARNING - Brandon is tired, bored AND has a power tool. What is wrong with this picture? To answer your question, "no, he did not hurt himself, but he did move his little project to the floor instead. "Good Decision there Brandon". That's all I need - blood on my tools.
Okay, now it's dark-thirty, or as some folks would say, half-past dark. Good thing we have a flash and overhead lighting. Brandon is amazed they can get so many tiny black lines on a yellow metal strip roll-up thingy, and have enough room for numbers...
Next day - We converted the back wall to incorporate a small 1x2 window for the dogs, positioned 8-inches off the floor so the weiner dog's line of sight would be mid-way while standing. The window's are sliders, double pane thermal, locking with screens. C'mon, mount that thing - Go,go,go.
ALL RIGHT - WE HAVE A/C ! ! ! Some minor carpentry here and there, make a hole, and viola, space for a 5,000 btu Air-Conditioner. Can we turn it on? Pleeeeeease...
Come on, come on - can we turn it on? I think the dogs are going to like it just fine. And besides, it's high enough so they can't hike a leg on it. And that's why it's so high.
Okay, time to button-up the wall. Simply place your wall board in position, draw your cut-outs and "poof", you have exact cuts and holes for your window and a/c unit. Mark the top cut.
Side wall meets back wall. Calculate cuts and overlap of outside siding.
Another day ends, and both sides are cut, trimmed and are insulated. Good night.
