Together with Anette, these two fantastic wings helped to win the Olympics and are unseperable friends. A friendly and smiling woman who's very popular. Farewell-match against Hungary March 2001 which was her match no. 250 (or rather few minutes). Here she also scored her first and only goal on penalty shot.

Startede as 6-year old in Thorsager/Rønde. many a guy discovered the sport of handball because of her! (tall blond girl). By the Olympics in Atlanta she had to cancell due to a knee injury and watched it from a wheel-chair, even though she was on the height of her career. She later stated it was the worst defeat she had ever experiences. Trained herself back on court again and was chosen for the brutto team to WC in 97 but twisted her ankle and blew her chance again. Stopped her career in 98 (playing for Viborg). Sold clothes and has now her own shop.

Below you can read a little about those of the players, whom we no longer can enjoy seeing on the national team. Many resigned after the Olympics in 2000 and others left before that due to injuries.

If you miss the "Golden team" of the 90's - the Atlanta Gold winners of the Olympics in 96 - I can tell you, that you are not the only one.. Ulrik Wilbek has stated, that such a talented team is only gathered once in a hundred years and so we will not see anything like it again.
