Like Cubao station, this station is surrounded by a hot, dirty, crowded commercial district. Like Boni station, it's mostly a vernacular landscape that people just pass through on the way to somewhere else. The only noteworthy thing I noticed was that this was the most crowded station on the entire MRT line. Streams of people were both coming and going, whereas in most of the other stations there were only a handful of people on either platform. It was too warm there. I was glad to leave it as soon as possible.
