 The rich here are just too snobby. It's the same landscape as in Buendia, but why do they have to cover all the windows in the station?? So "ordinary people" can't see what's going on in their homes? Granted, some people really intrude into their private space and compromise their security, but their precaution is going too far. It felt like I was one of hundreds of chickens in a dark cramped cage!

Come to think of it, this is probably why the Buendia and Ayala stations are underground. Somebody influential must have pulled some strings for that to happen. Perhaps to lessen the noise, or to preserve the aesthetics or to prevent spying. Probably all of the above. In that case, I wish all of the stations had been built the same way. But it's a testament to the special preference given to the rich. The rich are treated with more respect everywhere in the world, but one can really see the difference in Third World countries, where human rights are not given as much importance
