Filia is the mysterious female character in the series Slayers Try. Being a Golden Dragon, she pays
tribute and praise to the God clan. Filia knows all sorts of clarix but the one thing she prides
herself in knowing, is God's Words which is a spell that was supposedly lost for over 100 years
after the war of the gods. She can transform herself to be a human but then has trouble with hiding
her tail and most of the time gives herself away because of it. She has an obsession with china
and pottery and at the end of the series, opens up her own store filled with various dishes and
vases. Filia has a sweet and gentle character that will only get angry whenever a mazoku or something evil is around. Or if you really tick her off by telling her everything that's wrong with her... stupid Xellos. Filia shows pity for Valgarv, who is an ancient dragon and whose race was killed by the golden dragons before Filia was born. Because of her strong pity and remorse, she can't bring herself to kill Valgarv who becomes their enemy in Slayers Try. She can't believe that her own race would do such a thing. Because of this, she will do anything to repent her clan's sins and to take back anything that they have done. Of course, when she becomes the only golden dragon left, she has a better connection and feel for what Valgarv was put through. Filia's love life isn't that complicated, except for that the one she's destined to be with happens to be on her most wanted list. Yes the mazoku Xellos who killed over 200 members of her clan during the war of the gods. She loaths him at first but them shows more respect for him once she gets to know him.
