This section basically gives you a flavor for what I like and what I do with my leisure time. Here you will find a collection of the articles that I have been writing over the years and a taste of things to come (warning!). I started by publishing my first article called The Great Dictator in the Govt College of Engg, Kannur (GCEK) College Mag. I was lucky that they accepted it in the first place! Unfortunately, it gave me encouragement and I started to believe that I could write "chali" stuff.
So,when I was working as a Programmer at CTS,Chennai, I brought out a Mag called Pokhran, the title of which was inspired by India's nuclear tests. Surprisingly, it was a resounding success (Yeah, well, modesty was never my middle name). I am still searching for a copy of this issue, just to make this section complete.
Then, when I came to the US, life started to really suck. I was really missing my old buddies from GCEK. So, I cranked up my "database", thought hard about the nicknames that guys and girls had back in GCEK. I tried to recall their strengths, weaknesses, fiascos, comments etc. and came up with a "Newsletter" called Kannurites. Life has changed since.
This mag has met generally good, but at times mixed response and I will probably wind it up soon. However, the number of people who are getting this Mag through emails has already touched 100. So, that is not a bad thing for a timepass activity! And if you are thinking what is next- I would have to quote my favorite rock star, Jim Morrison:
"I dont know whats gonna happen man, but I wanna get my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames!"
