MESSAGE
The
Law Students Association of India fulfils with longfelt need of the law students
to express themselves as a unified student body in matters touching upon not
only the affairs connected with law but also with matters affecting the society
in general. I wish the said Association, particularly through the University
Law College Chapter, a very bright success.
In the History
of legal studies in southern India, University Law College, formerly known
as Government Law College, has it unique place, and has been producing, as
it does, some of the stalwarts in the field of law, both at the Bar and on
the Bench. Law Students Association of India, through its University Law College
Chapter therefore should be expected to contribute in equal measure to the
law field in particular and to the country in general.
