Justice GODA RAGHURAM
MESSAGE
I
am privileged to congratulate the formation of the Law students association
of India. This signal initiative by the law students in India, intended to
catalyse academic excellence among the law students and lawyers is the need
of the hour.
There is an accelerating policy shift in our country from the
controlled to the liberal economy. There is also a break down of the
national barriers brought about by the process of globalisation and its associate
- the international economic juggernaut. Insular economic and legal administration
policies based on nation-centric social and economic view, are in this age
and time, inadequate to cope with this change. Our legal fraternity too must
therefore upgrade its individual and collective skills in the area of advocacy
as also pursue the expanded frontiers of knowledge, to survive.
I
wish the Association all success.
Hyderabad.
4th February 2002
Justice
Goda Raghuram
