i'm not much of a comp spec person but if someone can please help me with this question. can you hook up any dvd-rom drive into any computer? or does compatibility have something to do with it?// as soon as i get that then i'm good to go to get back my computer.

i experienced my first calc 3 class last night... i was surprised to see that the class was full. anything above calc 3 means that you're a Physics/EE/ME/CE/Math Major... there are prolly more majors... but that's the only ones that i was told. any hoot... the class is pretty filled with familiar faces. same buds from calc 2, sadly to say minus arlene and tio, well, tio's only temporarily gone. he'll be back in a year. there's this one dude that sits right next to me... i remember him from a judo tournament. he was my opponent. hehe. idk if he remembers... but i suspect he does. us (ex)judo peeps recoginze our opponents quite well. being that you're in their face for the entire match and possibly when you hit other tournaments.

and the school semester begin's off with a sleek start:
engineering : basic circuit analysis was filled with a whole lot of new faces. i can recall 4 or 5 names from the bunch. alot of people from manoa though. =/ can i be as "smart" as them?// grrr... we'll see.

econ was super cold. i was stuck in an overpacked room in the front row knowing no one! and the most dreadfull part... GROUP REPORTS!!! i'm not much of the mingling type. geez. i need to make friends now.

physics was rather small. only 11 students in that class. fortunately it's the same instructor for engineering. i was once again picked on by Mr. Flegal... "I reserve the power to commend those students with talent. to get into Manoa you need to have a 2.0 or above, but for the College of Engineering, you need a 3.0. Let's say that Allen here has a 2.9 (which i don't!!!), and we see him improving from the first day till now. we'll call up the dean and say... 'Allen's an idiot... looks funny... can't dress... but take him in, he's got talent.'" geez... can they label me any more correctly?// (idk about the talent part though... *sigh*)

calculus class is this evening at 6pm... thank God i'm not going to be alone in that one. buddy boy harris is gonna be there. idk if i should be happy or not though?// i need to prep up the garage again for this semester's "study sessions after starbucks". any more takers... please sign in at the front desk with your name, phone number, and class that you will be studying for.

after last nights ordeal with personal and family life... i'm quite content with the results. as i was saying my nightly prayers ... i was requesting the help of God to watch over my Mom... and some uncontrollable urge to cry came over me. so i did... (ok... that was as emotional as it'll get) dang... idk when was the last time i had the waterworks like that. this morning was my mom's surgery and yeah... she's fine now. family time... sorta?// the parentals and i (no bro because he started work at 12) went to a wedding luncheon at Hale Koa's Banyan Tree Showroom. it was the same place where arlene tango had her debutant's ball. so much fond memories rushed back into the head. being the man of the night as arlene's partner, choreographing my very first debut, dancing at geiger park because there was no room at tango's garage to dance, and eating uncle's pancit with the little tabasco bottles. mmm MMM mmm. speaking of uncle... can't forget the little convo that me and him had about college... one verbal gesture... "aaaaAAAAAAhhHHhhh?//". hehe.

terrible news:
sigh... my life has never been so lost. yesterday around midnight my life took a turn towards the worse. my computer malfunctioned after downloading the IE Service Pack 1. idk if it was the download or what that cause this malfunction, but as of the 31st of July... i have no computer. the sick part was that the day before... i was talking to jacob about burning all of the pictures that were saved on my computer. way back from the beginnings of our high school years. everything is lost. all my music, all the pictures, and all my videos. all my boa & finkl video's are now lost. all my dancing material... gone. fond memories captured on digicams... deleted. and music that could last me for nights of fun! all... taken away.

now, my computer sits there dormant in my room. jacob tried his best with the Dell Support people for 5 hours on the phone... only to end up with nothing. no solution to my problem. thanks jay.

since that night, my heart is like... non-stop pounding. mainly because that computer isn't paid off yet ($3G's) and after telling the parentals... my mom could care less if it get's fixed. so i'm really afraid that i'm going to be totally disconnected from the outside world... well... from my friends at least. if any one knows how to fix computer's for a low price... hook me up! till that day... i won't be here that often...
