Most Haunted Live |

During an appearance by Yvette Fielding on his show, Paul mentioned to her that he wanted to guest on the live programme and she told him to come along. Derek Acorah's last ever Most Haunted Live event played out in London's eerie East End, where the team followed in the footsteps of the world's most notorious serial killer - Jack the Ripper. Paul had an experience when he thought his late friend Reg was trying to get through to him.

Regular presenters on The Paul O'Grady show accompanied Paul when he accepted the first award of the evening for Most Popular Daytime Programme. Also nominated in the Most Popular Entertainment Presenter category, Paul was pipped at the post by Ant and Dec.

Paul presented the award for British Gas Neighbour to Lesley Pulman for her bravery standing up to thugs in her community whilst suffering from multiple sclerosis.

ITV celebrated it's 50th birthday with a star-studded evening of entertainment. Paul presented Cilla Black with a star to recognise her contribution to the world of show business. Their banter brought tears of laughter and a standing ovation.

Among those battling it out for the top spot were Elton John’s rants from the documentary Tantrums and Tiaras, and Alexis throwing out Krystle’s furs after moving into the fabulous Carrington mansion in the glossy soap Dynasty. Plus, home-grown footage courtesy of Pasty Kensit’s Emmerdale character Sadie King, as well as a whole host of juicy snippets from the world of reality TV, including Sharon Osbourne’s tirade against The X Factor winner Steve Brookstein during the final. Paul came in at number 38 when he was ranting about his socks in Paul O'Grady's Orient and Lily made number 11 when she told someone to get rid of her husband on This Morning.
