When he happened to hear a phone vote asking listeners to choose their favourite programme, either the Paul O'Grady Show or Richard and Judy, Paul phoned in to say that he would be doing another block of shows for 14 weeks starting next March/April, then another 14 weeks later in the year. The phone vote ended up at 75% to 25% in Paul's favour.

Taking a break from his gruelling rehearsal schedule for Eyes Down at the BBC, Paul stepped in to Jonathan Ross's shoes to present the Saturday morning show. He mentioned a new addition to his household, a nine week old puppy, Bingo, whom eight year old Buster hates. Paul also stated he'd be sitting his driving test again in two weeks time and that he was returning to Pantomime at the Bristol Hippodrome in December. Guests were Les Dennis, Melanie C., Sir Ian McKellen and Sonia.
