Morris Graham's regiment, Clinton's brigade. After the Revolution, he lived in Pittstown, NY and after his wife died he lived in Lansing, Thomkins Co., NY. Capt John D Rouse was baptized at Loonenburg Lutheran Church; Goghkameko/Ankrom. Sponsors: Herm. Huhn and wife Anna Cath.2,3 He was born on 9 December 1741 at Nine Partners, NY. He was the son of Johann Nicolas Rausch and Anna Margaretha Brendall. Capt John D Rouse was born on 17 December 1741.2,3 He married Hannah Smith, daughter of William Henry Smith, between 1762 and 1763. Capt John D Rouse died on 19 January 1834 at age 92.

Per Dorothy Williamson: My Rebecca Rouse Eddy, Daughter of John D Rouse, had her portrait painted by the itinerant folk art painter, Ammi Phillips. Her husband, Johathan Eddy, also had his portrait painted by Ammi Phillips. Their portraits appeared in the Magazine Antiques in February 1994. I helped with the research for the exhibit at the Museum of American Folk Art in New York City and was invited to the opening of the exhibit. Their portraits sold at Sotheby's for $100,000. (From Dorothy Williamson; [email protected]).1 Rebecca Rouse was born on 20 December 1779 at Pittstown, NY.1 She was the daughter of Capt John D Rouse and Hannah Smith. Rebecca Rouse married Jonathan Eddy on 12 January 1800.1 Rebecca Rouse died on 12 April 1846 at Hoosick Falls, NY, at age 66.1 She was buried after 12 April 1846 at Old Maple Grove Cemetery, Hoosick Falls, NY.1

These church records had been moved for safety during the wars, to the church at Koblenz, and the documents are now located in the archive, Evangelischen Kirche in Rhineland, Archivstelle, Karmeliterster 1-3 Koblenz, West Germany. Hans Conrad Fenstermacher died in 1678 at Rhein-Pfalz, Germany.

William John Fenstermaker and George Fenstermacher were mentioned in the will of George Koehler, who was a half brother to William. On 6 March 1799 at Northampton, Pennsylvania.2 William John Fenstermaker died on 27 November 1801 at Heidelberg Twp., Northampton (now Lehigh Co.), Pennsylvania, at age 61. He was buried after 27 November 1801 at Old Heidelberg Cemetery, Northampton, PA. He left a will on 28 December 1801 at Northampton, Pennsylvania; named executors as George and William Fenstermacher and witnesses to his will were George Horn and Martin Andrews.3

Anna Maria Fenstermacher married Michael Bieber in 1760.1 Anna Maria Fenstermacher died on 10 May 1801 at Shoenersville, Pennsylvania, at age 60.
