The PowerToss HotSeat One of the best parts of PowerToss is sitting around and having good conversations with the fellow players. Well, here on the PowerToss HotSeat, you'll get to hear how some PowerToss players feel about the issues that plague our generation, such as who might win in a head-to-head matchup of the '72 Dolphins and the '78 Steelers.Archived HotSeat Transcripts:
In this edition of the HotSeat: Scot Russell For the third edition of the PowerToss Hot Seat, we're sitting down with
the #1 seed in the Tobal Bracket, Scot Russell, who will take on #9 seeded Jordan Keller in
the second round.
Scot Russell, you are
on the PowerToss HotSeat. What do you feel your strongest quality is while playing PowerToss? My consistency, and if I ever get into The Funk, there is Rigor Mortis to pull me out. If you could only put either Fred McGriff or Rafael Palmiero in the Baseball Hall of Fame, who would it be? The Crime Dog. Was Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" the greatest rap album of all time? No. Do you agree with the "Second Gunman" theory behind the J.F.K. assassination? No. You're a Hutchinson alumnus. Why is Hutchinson the best of the five Laurel Highlands elementary schools? I'd have to say the diversity in people (like Hatfield was always the rich people.) John Stockton recently announced his retirement from the game of basketball. Who is the greatest pure point guard of all time? I'd feel soiled if I didn't say Stockton. In his day, he was the best passer ever, he could shoot the rock, and he got it done on the defensive end. Of all the great Tom Hanks films, which stands head-and-shoulders above the rest as your favorite? Which is your least favorite? My favorite would have to be Apollo 13, and my least favorite that I've seen is definitely The Burbs. If you could go back in time and live the life of one person, famous or otherwise, whose life would you choose? St. John The Revelator, what he witnessed is something I would give my life and all material possessions just to feel worthy enough to witness. And now for the Two Words section of the HotSeat. Answer each of the following questions with two words and two words only. First topic... The 2004 Democratic Presidential Candidates. Fuck Bush. The Pro Football Career of Willis McGahee. Sorry, Willis. Reality Television. Vomit inducing. The French. Interesting people. Your Chances in MAYhem. Very good. And finally, the Pivot Questionnaire: Ten simple questions that let us look through a window into your soul. 1. What is your favorite word/phrase? "Lacksadazical." If that's how you spell it.2. What is your least favorite word/phrase? "Ahh... forget about it."3. What turns you on? The jeans without any back pockets.4. What turns you off? Lack of intelligence/common sense.5. What is your favorite curse word? Bastard.6. What sound or noise do you love? Gunfire.7. What sound or noise do you hate? The sound of windbreaker pants rubbing together when people walk.8. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? Male Stripper.9. What profession would you not like to do? Preschool Teacher.10. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? He would simply have to say, "Good job, my son."Scot Russell, you are off the PowerToss HotSeat. Thanks for participating Thanks for having me. I feel like barbeque chicken, because I have just been grilled. |
