| As you will notice this is a poetry site. I am a poet. My name is Teresa Lynn Tipton. Every poem on this site is written by me unless noted otherwise. As I was saying I am a poet. I write about what is important to me. I am depressed. Therefore my poetry reflects that. In my poems are dark yet shining with light. I live on the dark side yet I'm full of light. I am full of love. And I want to let all of that out. I'm using this this site to express myself and basically show the world my beauty,depth,widom,and love. | Personal Statement 12-5-01: As you will notice my homepage has a love theme.I feel love deep within me so I wish to let it out. I would like to say that the events of september 11 affected me very much. They affected us all. Not just americans. Human lifes we taken. It happens every day in worldwide and it has to stop. I myself am full of love and have love for not just other americans but my fellow human beings. I know I am not the only person who feels love towards all but what I'm saying is only a handful feel that way;and if more people felt the way I did there hate wouldn't be an issue. I'm no super woman and I'm not God.Theres nothing I can do to stop all this hate. All I can do is share my love with all. Those who read this I hope you fill it. Only God can truly stop all this hate. But we as humans can show love unselfishly. It goes along way believe me.And I hope you all don't find this corny but everyone reading this "I love you"!!!! *big hugs* As you all know aftet the events of september 11th a song came out called "What's goin on". At that time I felt strong compassion (and still do) for those whose lives were taken. And even felt sorry for those blinded by hate.I mean hate is such a disease!How could someone gve up their own lives to take others? Thats horribly wrong. Iggorance and hate are horrible things but our reality. I'd see the palestines on tv celebrating over death and I thought to myself "death should not be celebrated,if anything is worth celebrating and rejoicing over;its life". Anyways at the time I was full of love,compassion,confusion,and fear. When I heard "Whats Goin On" it brought tears to my eyes. Well I hope you all took this to heart! Heres the lyrics to "Whats Goin On" Oh wait before I type that up I'm gonna tell you about a few other songs that warm my heart. "My sacrfice" by Creed. "Lullaby" by Creed "When the Children Cry" by White Lion When I hear "Lullaby" the words that strike me the most is "There is one thing I want you to know,want you to know,give love to all" Awww.I love that song! Those songs also fit this love theme so I'm gonna put them on there also. Oh yea and the All-Star-tribute "Whats Goin On" is now in stores. Heres the lyrics.
