I originally only read this book because it was written by a cousin of someone I know and she's LDS (Mormon). As this book is about vampires and I have a low threshold for scariness, this isn't my typical read. However, I really did like this book. It drew me in after the first few pages and I couldn't stop reading it. I actually read it in one day.
