| This is a really different book. If you like sci-fi or fantasy you�ll probably like it; it�s a mixture of both. It takes place at any time you think, the author doesn�t specify. Elana is a person from a supremely advanced society that is called the Federation. Her civilization is an interstellar (thus the sci-fi part) and tries to prevent not so advanced cultures from taking over barely advanced cultures. When the Empire (a not quite advanced civilization) is trying to take over Andrecia, a medieval planet, Elana, her fianc�, and her father must stop them. They meet natives of Andrecia and Elana falls in love with Georyn, a native. While trying to help them defeat the Empire, they unexpectedly get help from Jarel, an Imperial Medical Officer on the planet. Have I said too much? At least I�m not as long as Sophie's, though. Oh, yeah, there is no bad language or �yucky� parts in it. I really liked it because it is very different than any other book I�ve read, and I�ve read a lot. | ||||||||||||
