| Archangel Real Name: Warren Worthington III Muntant Ability: Warren has feathered wings comming out of his back, allowing him to fly. Group Identification: Uncanny X-Men Current Status: Active Warren is one of the five original X-Men. He served with the original team for a long time, going by the name of Angel, and then when the rest of the team started the government funded muntant team X-Factor. Warren was only with X-Factor a short time when the Morlocks, a band of mutants living in the sewers of New York and longtime allies of the X-Men, were attacked by the Mauraders. Warren lost his original wings in the conflict, and when he became depressed about all of his problems, tried to commit suicide in a helicopter crash. Moments before the crash, Warren was saved by Apocolypse. Apocolypse gave Warren a set of metal wings, and turned him into the blue skinned Death, Apocolypses Fourth Horseman. When Warren was forced to fight his old team, he turned back to them, and helped them defeat Apocolypse. After this he re-joined X-Factor. When X-Factor reformed, Warren rejoined the X-Men, and has served with them ever since. He had long had a relationship with Psylocke, but that ended when problems arose between the two and Thunderbird entered the team and fell in love with her. A few years back, Warren's Metal wings molted, and his old feather wings burst out of his back. Now Warren keeps the skies safe as a member of the Uncanny X-Men. |
