This is a photographic record of my August 1999 cycling trip around the Hawaiian Islands. The photo below is me at Plantation Village - a hostel on Oahu's North Shore. Yeah, that's a bicycle under all those bags. The North Shore is a world reknowned surfing mecca.

The following “Pic-A-Day Gallery” is a brief overview which features one special photo from each day of the trip along with a caption. The travelogue begins with a complete circumnavigation of the island of Oahu by bicycle. This is followed by 10 days on the Big Island including a hike up a Hawaiian volcano. The final week of activities on Maui and Kauai have yet to be added.
