Bar Des Sports - We were there for Oktoberfest (this was back
in 2002). They have food, drinks, live bands, karaoke nights & host events
throughout the year. In 2004 we were there for
the Summer kickoff (I forget the festival name) with lots of band, the whole town was there.
Du Borg - Restaurant by day and popular sports bar by night.
They have a pool table there & a projection TV. I got to watch the Lakers
loose this year via Satellite TV in South America...
Clibbertown - Don't bother show up until after 1:15am (after the
bard close) but this is usually the popular hangout stop, and we have had
launch parties here as well.
Le Saxo Club - No cover charge, go there on Clibbertown's off days.
Bar Le 13 - At corner of the town square (near Delifrance). Open
during the afternoons, closes by nighttime.
Le Lazer 2000 - We had the ANIK F1 Launch Party there, now it's
called something else? Aguille Tallon?
Le Matado
(Open seasonally, Ive never seen it open)
Club 106 - I think I saw this one in Cayenne, never made it.
Glacier Des 2 Lacs - Ice-cream shop is
not a bar or a club but a popular hangout stop in town. I try the rhum candies,
they have a kick. This last trip I indulged myself by trying most of the
ice-cream flavors & awesome ice-cream creations.
