Here's
an example of what I'm thinking about while I'm working on my bench
press at home.
Once I'm warmed up and positioned under the fully loaded bar I lift
the bar off my bench, lower the cold steel down towards my chest breathing
in at the same time and keeping focused. Then at the bottom I touch
my chest with the bar. Then after a 2 count I Force the bar back to
the top! |
If on the way back to the top I find myself struggling, I change what
runs through my mind.
The last time I trained I imagined myself underneith a car, psuhing
to keep the car from crushing my chest! It worked... |
