WATER
SUPPLY
The
municipality of Kalayaan although rich in water
resources has no centralized water system. Majority of
the households depend on artesian well and springs as
shown in Table No. 46. Sources of water other than those
stated in the table are Caliraya Lake, Guimban River and
Subaan River.

DEVELOPMENT
NEEDS
Increase in
population will consequently result in increase in water
demand. Using the standard per capita consumption of 75
liters per day, the following table shows the daily
water demand of the population.
