Song: "That would have to be 'On the Outside' by Oingo Boingo.  I don't think any other song has ever really summed up my life, or rather my regard towards convention or opinion, than that."
Movie: Like most people, Mike found it rather difficult to pick a favorite movie.  He narrowed it down to 'The Highlander', "The Crow", and the 'Star Wars' series.  Mike noted that all three movies feature as the main character an ordinary person who discovers that he is part of something bigger.
Worst Car: 1973 Green Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.  I actually had to ride in this car a few times, but I'll let Mike describe it.  "There was not ONE major system that did not have to be fixed or replaced while I owned it; not ONE rim that held air; the right headlight would wink out and I'd have to hit it to make it come on again (same with the radio, but both eventually stopped working altogether); the door could not hold a window, so the interior became weathered (it stayed with you when you left the car); and the rest of the car became a cat-box and spider-breeding ground.  It spewed gas from the engine while running (reaching a record 2 feet).  It lost oil and water so much that I never needed to replace either, just refill occassionally.  It was hideous and green, but it was heavily armored, hence the nickname The Tank."
Nickname for Martin: "The Tank, no wait. . . actually Dork Boy is the only one that gets used regularly."  Mike's kidding.  He never really calls me Dork Boy (he usually calls me "Schmuck.").  He does, however, say, "Hello, Miss?" or "Hello, Fish?" repeatedly over and over again every time he calls me until I ask, "What do you mean Miss?" at which point he answers, "I'm sorry.  I have a cold."

I've known Mike since my Junior Year in High School in La Verne, California.  He and I had a Commercial Art Class together.  Mike always sat on the other side of the room drawing comic book pictures and not paying attention to the instructor.  A few years later, on September 26th, 1987, Mike and I were at a DeMolay dance.  He was depressed, having just broken up with his girlfriend, and wanted to leave the dance.  I convinced him to stay around for another song or two, and tried to cheer him up.  Later that evening, he met Jennifer, whom he ended up marrying several years later.  The three of us still celebrate September 26th as the anniversary that Mike met Jennifer and that he and I became best friends.  In 1994, Mike asked me to be the Best Man at his wedding.  Mike and I spend our time together working on an elaborate epic fantasy story on the scale of "The Lord of the Rings."  Mike loves games and has introduced me to several over the years, all of which I lose.  Mike even bought a button for me that reads, "Our Policy Is to Always Blame the Dice."  Mike works at Albertson's as a manager, and during the "Star Wars: Phantom Menace" merchandising overload, his store was giving away a life-size status of everyone's favorite annoying character, Jar Jar Binks.  He and Jen decided to enter my name into the drawing, and commenced to fill out about 2,000,000,000 entrance forms in my name.  Needless to say, I received a call one day to come pick up my Jar Jar statue.  It now resides comfortably in my old bedroom at my parents' house.  In the pictures link you can see Mike dressed as a Jedi Master for the promotion at Albertson's with Jar Jar and me.  Mike and Jen have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, Katelyn.  Katelyn calls me "Uncle Marty" but it sounds more like "Unka Mah-ee."  Her two favorite phrases are, "Go see Jar Jar?" and "Marty broke it."
