| Birthplace: San Jose, California Birthday: April 16, 1981 (Holy Thursday) Current Residence: Morgan Hill, CA Current Employment: Full-Time college student. A sophmore attending De Anza College. Pet(s): "One kitty, black. Name: Miss Kitty." Miss Kitty likes "talking, rolling in the dirt, [and doing] pretty much anything to get your attention." Do you remember How we first met? How?: "I actually don't remember a whole lot about Jody when I was younger, except for the traumatic tickle sessions, the times when she and Diane tied me to a chair while playing 'cowboys and Indians' at our grandma's house, and the time when she and my cousins put on a freak/horror show to scare me....She has been pretty spunky for as long as I've been around." [Okay, I have no idea why Alicia is making-up stories about 'cowboys and Indians' and 'freak/horror' shows. She is quite delusional. The tickle stories, yes, they're indeed true. 'Cowboys and Indians..." whatever!] "Boy, is Martin in for it. Ha! Ha! Ha!" Alicia also had this to say about Martin: "I think he felt a little overwhelmed with our family for a bit. Jody, Melanie and I probably scared him. But he's still here, must like being scared now." Do you remember what the first thing was that I said to you?: Alicia doesn't have any recollection of what I said to her for the first time. She did recall how she still has "the Big Sister-Love drawings and notes" that I gave to her." What song best describes your personality?: Alicia has quite a few songs, four of them-- "Brown-Eyed Girl", by Van Morrison ("How can you NOT love the song?") "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World", by IZ (This one helps her wake up every morning.) "Guantanamera", by Tito Puente (She loves Salsa, "I'm learning Spanish for my trip to Spain one of these days." "Closer to Fine", by the Indigo Girls. Favorite Food: "I like all different types of food, like Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Spanish and FIlipino. I'm really picky though [Boy is that the truth!], as Jody knows, but I'm getting much better at trying new things." As long as those new things don't contain fatty, grisly, veiny-foods, she'll eat it. Movie: Alicia likes older movie classics the best, "especially the musicals, like 'Singing in the Rain,' 'Winter White Christmas,' etc...." She also really enjoys dance movies like "Strictly Ballroom," "Dance With Me," etc.... She likes the girlie-flicks. Worst pet-peeve: "Uncleanliness and poor personal hygiene....You know, they say 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness." I don't know how serious Alicia is about that one. Most annoying/worst habit: Wow, she has soo many. Just kidding. Alicia said that she is stubborn, impatient and loud. She also stresses herself out way too much and runs late [I think that runs in the family]. Jody's Notes: Alicia (or "Sha-Sha" as I often call her) is quite a little "pixie." If you think that I'm mischievous, she's 5-times moreso! I was soo excited when she was born, because I thought of her as a "living doll." It was soo much fun bathing her, feeding her and changing her diapers (okay, that wasn't SOO much fun). Sometimes, I would play with her by changing her into one of her many cute little outfits. Alicia' has grown up to be a bright, caring and loving young woman. We're nine years apart from each other, but you would think that we were both twelve years-old if you saw us running around our parents' house. I usually chase Alicia around the house and threaten to tickle her, whereafter she proceeds to either run down the hallway screaming and locking herself in the bathroom. If she has enough time to turn the corner, she ends up barricading herself in her room. He! He! [Back to Bridesmaids Page] [Back to Home Page] |
