Song: 'Crazy' by Seal.  "I agree with the line 'We're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy'.   The great truth that all of us should never take life too seriously is summed up in that one sentence."
Movie: Two current favorites, 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'Cast Away.'  ". . . the characters prove a point about how bad life can be in the most extreme circumstances, yet they still persevere.  The main characters are put through one of the harshest of realities, isolation from all that they hold dear, and yet they triumph and prove that we all should have hope for tomorrow and continue breathing because you never know what the tide is going to bring you."
Worst Car: Until one month ago was driving a 1995 Honda Odyssey mini van.  'Nuff said.
Nickname for Martin: "I never really had a nickname for Martin.  While some may say that simply calling him Marty when the rest of the world now calls him Martin professionally, there was never anything more clever than making his name sound slightly Hispanic by pronouncing it as "Mar-teen."  And even then, this was reserved for the many work-distracting e-mail letters we have exchanged over the years."

Jeff and I met through the Order of DeMolay, a fraternal organization for young men.  Brian and I were officers in our League (a district) and were traveling to another League where we met Jeff.  Jeff was known as the "Funny Guy" in his League, a reputation which has stayed with him to this day.  Jeff and I knew each other as DeMolay acquaintances for several years until we were elected co-state officers in 1991/92 along with another friend, Loren.  Jeff and I traveled throughout our year term of office, becoming better friends.  Unlike most co-officers in DeMolay, Jeff, Loren and I stayed friends after getting out of office.  Jeff has made me proud by trying to date every one of my single female co-workers at one time or another.  At this writing, Jeff is, strangely, single.  He is, however,  trying to woo yet another one of my co-workers with his quick wit and sense of humor (well, that's what
he calls it).  I'm taking 10 to 1 odds against Jeff.  Jeff and I spend our time together searching for a movie house that is showing 'Blade Runner'.  To date, we've seen three out of the five different versions of the movie. Some day, we'll see those last two. For being one of my groomsmen, I'd like to extend to Jeff a hearty "Thank you, Masked Man."
