On December 12th, 2000, I invited six of my closest friends over to dinner at my apartment. We spent the evening hanging out, eating, and drinking wine (or soda or beer for some). After a few hours, I attempted to slyly turn the conversation toward the topic of friendship and how all of my friends have different strengths that I draw upon. By this time, all but one of them had figured out that I was going to ask them to be my Groom's Party for the wedding. I have included here some statistics, anecdotes and pictures about all six of these friends. I've included my own thoughts on this esteemed group, as well as actual quotes by them about some of their favorite things in life. I hope by reading these stories and looking at the pictures, you'll start to get an idea about why I find these people so special.
