( I fell in love for the first time... then it all went to shit and I started writing again. The first two and the last poem of this series were written after the core 10 poems to put a "beginning and end" to the ordeal. When I read through these poems now, I relive the emotional rollercoaster I was on during those very crazy years. )
1998
( After I was over that whole thing, I shared those poems in Retrospective to some family and friends. They basically told me that I was "good", whatever that means. Due to this, I started writing more... This is also when I got online and called myself "jim_the_poet" which is what I still chat by to this day. )
