I was thinking of love
remembering love
and I ask you
Do you remember falling in love?
feeling the hope
releasing the fear
letting go and giving the wheel to fate
and letting Him steer
slip sliding through lust
blindly depending on trust
to guide us through the maze
to show us the way

And as we sit here casually
reliving those times
looking into your eyes
I find it hard to believe
hard to conceive
that
you're just a stranger to me

Do you remember falling from love?
losing the hope
embracing the fear
losing control and cursing the fate
for bringing these tears
crash landing in shame
so lonely playing this game
to guide us through the maze
to find our own ways
