Before I proceed, I would like to request the readers of this section to please keep an open mind. Any flames for this section would be considered dumb and stupid. People have their own ideas on things, just as I do. So please, let's just respect each others' opinions, for us to have better relationship and to make this world a better place. World peace, anyone?

In this section, we will analyze the pros and the cons of the people paired up with Goten. And we did not say girls because there are some people who are actually inclined into pairing up Goten with... *cough* another male. But anyway, since we're all keeping open minds here, I'll take care of that part too. So let's now start off so we'll be done earlier.

#1: Paresu, aka Paris/Palace First off, who's Paresu? She is Goten's girlfriend in DBGT, who just moved to Satan City. She's a pretty girl of the shy type. Unfortunately, she gets part of the blame of why Goten didn't get to go on the search for the Black Star Dragonballs with Goku, Trunks and Pan (and therefore he didn't become one of the main characters in the series) because she called Goten up on the time he was supposed to board the ship for their adventure.

Pros. Paresu is a nice, sweet girl. She's beautiful yet not too extravagant. But beauty aside, the good thing about her is that she loves Goten very much and she cares for him a lot. More or less, she's your average female boyfriend-less human.

Cons. Many say she's a ditz. But the major deal about her is that she's not a fighter. She's more or less the damsel in distress type. The girl who needs to be protected by her knight in shining armor. And fans definitely want Goten to get a fighting girl. If Gohan got Videl, then why can't Goten get a fighter for a girlfriend/wife?

#2: Bra, aka Bura She's rather the more popular match-up to our dear Goten-sama, although a bond of that sort never existed in the series. So before we go on with the pondering, who's Bra? Well, for those who have no idea on who she is, she is the little sister of Goten's best friend, Trunks. Thus, she's Vegeta's daughter (obviously).

Pros. She's a saiyajin; her father and brother are awesome fighters. However, there's something that always follows after that statement. Anyway, another thing about her is that she's rich. She is, after all, part of the Briefs-Vegeta family, owner of Capsule Corporation. Chichi would definitely want a rich girl for Goten. She's also pretty, and she's Trunks' sister.

Cons. Unfortunately, there seems to be more cons with her than Paresu. For one, the age difference. Bra is thirteen years younger than Goten. Wouldn't that be too awkward for Goten? Another thing is that she may be a saiyajin, but she's not a fighter. She loves shopping, and then comes the fact that she's a spoiled brat. She's Vegeta's little princess, remember? And the Saiyajin no Ouji certainly wouldn't want his brat to be with Kakkarot's brat, because that would make him related to the third-class baka.

#3: Marron How can we leave her out? She's the third girl popularly paired up with Goten (and/or Trunks). But, who is she? She's the daughter of Krillin and Android #18, who doesn't grow a nose until GT. So what about her? As I've read once in a fic, she's described as the dangerous combination of arrogance and cowardice. Well, that's how she was described, let's analyze.

Pros. Being #18 and Krillins' daughter, she's a potential fighter. But there's a three letter word called but that follows after that, which will come in the cons part. As for the age gap in Marron's case, it wouldn't be too great, unlike Bra's. Also, Marron is undeniably beautiful, and she's much cuter now that she's an adult because... she has a nose!

Cons. She is #18 and Krillins' daughter, BUT like Bra, she's obsessed with shopping, if I'm not mistaken. She got that from #18, although #18's definition of shopping would be to terrorize the people in boutiques so she could get the clothes for free. Speaking of #18, her mother... she's money-hungry. So #18 would most probably want her daughter to be wed to Trunks, who was rich, famous and good-looking at the same time.

#4: Trunks If you are offended by yaoi, SKIP THIS PART! Honestly, I am offended by yaoi, too, because males were made for females, but I included this one anyway. Back to Trunks, he is Goten's best friend. Well you know that. He's Vegeta's son and Bra's older brother. And because they're best of friends, some people take that relationship into something else.

Pros. They're best of friends, so that means they get along pretty well. That's a fact, although Trunks is usually the boss. Second, Trunks is rich, something Chichi would definitely want for Goten. Third, he's a saiyajin, a Z-Senshi, a fighter. What more could you ask?

Cons. The absolute flaw of it all? He's male. He would have been perfect for Goten... but he's male.
