Heaven-Sent Innocence: A Shrine to Son Goten had its debut in the Goten/DBZ community last 15th of April, 2002. It was managed by myself, and my fellow Goten otaku, [RC]. We wanted to make a site dedicated to our favorite character, as there are so few in the web compared to the other characters like Trunks and Vegeta.

Signing up for [Topcities], we begun our work. Things went well --- very well, in fact --- that we reached as far as 3,000 hits in almost five tumultuous months. Despite the fact that we experienced problems like bandwidth overlimits and restarting counters every now and then, we went on, as we desired to see the shrine's name in [Anipike] sometime in the future.

However, at the 14th of September, 2002 --- a day short of our fifth month anniversary --- the shrine plunged into oblivion. When I logged in to update, I was met with the message that our account did not exist. I was so pissed. Frustrated. Depressed. I didn't even bother to ask the staff for what happened. I just stopped, didn't bother to do anything anymore. It was through, at least, that was what I thought.

Months passed. The Goten community began to return to its silent slumber. I wanted to do something to contribute to the community that has been of much value to me, so I created Heaven-Sent Innocence: A Clique to Son Goten. It didn't succeed much, however, for only very few joined. Most of them were the Goten shrine webmistresses/webmasters.

Then, 29th of April, 2003, I went to visit the Goten shrine owned by my [Oniichan Shiro], [Chibi N' Kawaii], and read what he wrote for an update. He wrote:

Well anyhow... one of my favorite Goten Shrines, Heaven-Sent Innocence died. The server deleted months worth of work. Poor Kaz u.u;

Those words simply inspired me, as something washed over me when I read the word favorite. Then I thought, "If it's one of Oniichan's favorites, so maybe others like it too!" And so I went to work, restructuring the shrine, trying to restore it to what it once was and working hard to make it even better. I got off from my usual image medium, MS Paint, and experimented on the new program I got, Adobe Photoshop. Yes, I'm poor, I didn't get it sooner. Anyway, after hours of facing the computer, neglecting the fanfics that I should've updated, I finally finished the basic structure of the whole shrine.

And here's the result of all those hours of hard work. Heaven-Sent Innocence: Reloaded. A shrine and clique to Son Goten. So after over seven months of being inert in the Goten community, I'm finally back. Back with HSI --- and back with a vengeance.
