But if she marries then she is to take one third of all my lands in one plantation whatever may suit her, the residue of my land to be rented out and balance of my negroes hired out and the money applied to the schooling of my children until the three first arrives of age, then they are to have their equal parts of the same and all the rest of my children in succession as they arrive of age are to receive their parts likewise, now to conclude this my last will. I appoint Elizabeth D. Clements and Alexander Hamilton my Executrix and Executor to see this will executed. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 5th day of July 1833. Witness E. G. Overton William Clements Charles Botts At a County Court held for Nelson County at the Courthouse in Bardstown on the 12th day of August 1833. This last will and testament of William Clements deceased was exhibited in Court and proved by the oath of Charles Botts to be the last will and testament of the said decedent, who also made oath that E. G. Overton the other subscribing witness did in his presence and at the request of the Testator subscribe the same as a witness. Whereupon it is ordered that the said will be recorded.
