WILSON..2 He married Elizabeth D. Thomas at Washington County, Kentucky, on 13 November 1824. Marriage performed by Rev. Richard P. MILES..2 William Clements left a will on 5 July 1833 at Nelson County, Kentucky, In the name of God Amen. I William Clements of the County of Nelson and State of Kentucky being weak of Body but of sound and disposing memory do humbly make this my last Will and Testament
First I desire that two thirds of my crop growing and two thirds of the perishable property be sold and applied to the payment of my debts together with the money that is due me and if this is not sufficient to extinguish the same then some of my negroes (sic) must be sold at the discretion of my Executors I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth D. Clements the farm one which I now live together with the following negroes to wit Levi Daniel and Shelia. also the waggon (sic) and teams and third of the perishable property and crop which she is to hold while a widow. But if she marries then she is to take one third of all my lands in one plantation whatever may suit her, the residue of my land to be rented out and balance of my negroes hired out and the money applied to the schooling of my children until the three first arrives of age, then they are to have their equal parts of the same and all the rest of my children in succession as they arrive of age are to receive their parts likewise, now to conclude this my last will. I appoint Elizabeth D. Clements and Alexander Hamilton my Executrix and Executor to see this will executed. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 5th day of July 1833.

G. Overton the other subscribing witness did in his presence and at the request of the Testator subscribe the same as a witness. Whereupon it is ordered that the said will be recorded.

He married Anna Loyd Clements at Washington County, Kentucky, on 12 February 1861.3 William was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census at Uniontown, Union County, Kentucky.2 William F. CLEMENTS must have had problems with creditors, for whatever reasons. In 1873 when Eliza Ann PARROTT, his mother in law, deeded property to her daughter Anna Loyd she stated that it was to be free from all claims against Wm. F. CLEMENTS, her husband. Also, his father Walter willed one-eight of his estate to the children of William F. He went on to state "should any of said children die before arriving at the age of twenty one years & without a child or children then in that case its share shall go to to its brothers and sisters and not its father. The said William F. CLEMENTS shall not take possession of the property either personal or real without first giving bond and approved security. He the said William F. board & nothing more out of said property. So long as he lives with the children & whatever kinds of property the children of my son William F. CLEMENTS may get under this will shall in no event be liable to their father's debts." He married Woodward Clements w-o Wm. F. at Union County, Kentucky, before 12 June 1880.4 William was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census at Union County, Kentucky.4 William died at Union County, Kentucky.
