Pg-#2-

Freedom was shut down during the process. The Protestors were denied their right to lawfully assemble for the purposes of protest and democracy was proven to be a sham. No democracy can stand before the almighty world government.

As one of the protestors, Karen Pearlston, a Graduate Law Student, said, "They told me that it was on orders from the Prime Minister's office that there should be no signs or people along this roadway. And they kept telling me that they'd arrest me, and when I asked on what charges they'd arrest me, one officer said, "We'll make something up."

Funny the officer should say that, because that is exactly what happened.

Jaggi Singh, another anti-apec protestor, was arrested on Monday Nov 24 at 12:06 pm, charged with damage to a security guard's hearing by using a megaphone in a protest two weeks earlier.

Craig Jones, was arrested the next day at 8:20 am when he refused to remove signs from along the motorcade route. Which said offensive things like: "free speech" and "democracy". He was held in jail for 14 hours, but was never charged.

A protestor named Mr. Ormond, stated, "It was actually really unreasonable. I was just dripping with that stuff." Reporter, "Why do you say that?" Ormond, "Well because they were pepper spraying us at the same time they were grabbing us to arrest us, so basically it was a situation where they were just using pepper spray to inflict pain on us."
