Trade At What Cost??
What happened at the WTO conference in Seattle was akin to what happens in communist countries like China and Russia when citizens try to exercise some form of freedom. The events that took place during this conference and others, should show all of us that "the ends justifies the means philosophy" is still alive and well in today's world. We simply cannot accept unelected bodies like the WTO deciding our futures for us.
