Our Christian community is just a small part of the worldwide community of Christians. All people who love Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are our 'brothers and sisters'.

We are part of a worldwide movement of God which began at the beginning of creation and will be complete when Jesus Christ comes back again. Through Jesus Christ, God is turning people who are naturally rebellious and sinful into a people who will live faithfully and humbly with Him for all eternity.

The apostle Paul, one of Jesus' first missionaries, wrote:

"Because of his love God had already decided that through Jesus Christ he would make us his sons - this was his pleasure and purpose. Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son! For by the sacrificial death of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven. How great is the grace of God, which he gave us in such large measure!

In all his wisdom and insight God did what he had purposed, and made known to us his secret plan he had already decided to complete by means of Christ. This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head."

(Ephesians 1:5-10, GNB).

So we can say that:
God has a goal:  to unite all things in and through Jesus.
God has a plan:
1.  He originally gave us a mandate to fill the earth and subdue it, in the context of having good relationships with Him and each other.
2.  But we all have sinned and fallen short of His glory.  That's why the world is in such a mess, and we shall be held accountable for what we have done!
3.  But if we turn from our sins and believe in Jesus Christ, we shall be saved from the penalty of hell which we deserve.
4.  Jesus came to show us how we should now live, and also gives us the power to do it.  The six steps outline this way.
5.  As a result we are then able to live in love the way how God always wanted us to.
6.  And so we are then restored to be able to live in accordance with God's original mandate!
God has an intent:  to create a people who will walk faithfully and humbly with the Lord Jesus for all eternity.

We want all of what we do to be in line with this 'big picture' of what God is doing on the earth, even if it means we must suffer and undergo persecution. We love God very much and are eagerly waiting for the day when Jesus Christ will return, after which there will be a new heaven and earth in which there is no more evil.
