We went to watch Huo Yuan Jia... the story line very typical Huang Fei Hong style. Fighting oso nothing special, dun see why its NC 16. Then when i want to buy ticket, the aunty ask me whether got bring ic... its NC16! im like..dotz~ den daniel poh behind take off cap say "wo men botak de" den he ask whether ns guys got discount, cos their csm say have. but aunty say dun hav...too bad lo. We almost wanted to watch Long Weekend (M18), luckily didn't or else the ticket stub man say i forge my ezlink card.

Ate subway, i luv subway. Altho quite ex and cold but very healthy and filling... the chocolate cookie i took into the cinema and ate while watching. Lido 1 very very big, first time i been in there. After watching, we walk from Lido all the way to City Hall...dam far. Walked past The Cathay, which looks very grand now but not fully done yet. We just walk and talk and walk and talk, nothing much but time well spent. Tomorrow gotta mug, they gonna book in in the evening again... life will go back to normal. haix~

Not a very wonderful CNY thanks to the exams next week. Din really do any visiting this holiday, just mugging at home and facing PR and Print notes. Heard Angela Zhang's Pandora yesterday, very addictive like Gwen Stephanie Hollerback Girl.

Entre is finally over and the presentation was quite okay, tho other teams seemed to have put in the extra effort. It's over.. over. Very worried about my Azhar ica 1 and my IP scores cos the others in my class did quite badly, it's preposterous.

Last friday went back to cat high and met only Yi Jun and Keith from my batch, who're working in cat high. Saw the ultra money-wasting ponds and omg, the field is gone! One quarter of it is now occupied by a thin strip of tar for hockey. Debates is getting back to its peak with JGs around the corner. Hak Boon hired a lion dance troupe to welcome his own arrival into the hall, how ridiculous! Then get some stupid Pei Ya secondary school ppl to perform hip hop... its a whole load of mess! dunno what he's doing la. The yellow batch were screaming their jc cheers outside the teachers room, haha how typical of all the fun in orientation. tho i heard, vj cheer thrashed the nj cheer, not unexpected also.

Nothing much for this new year, evil nyp destroyed it. Can't eat a lot cos scared sick... Anyway I saw the mtv of Kelly Clarkson's Because of You and realise that it wasn't a romantic rejected-love song like Since you been gone. In the story, Kelly who has a girl argued with her husband, then remembered her terrible childhood where her parents argued and her father left home. Because her father was very strict, her life became miserable. So now she understands and avoid the same mistake and make up with her husband. Very nice story, very meaningful and great mtv!

Ultra full... had free-flow of Sakae sushi and had Earthquake at Swensen paid by school... whoahaha so shiok! Ate until so satisfied and happy, feel like paradise. The poor boy at Sakae had to take the nonsense of so many of us, ordering 14 steamed eggs and loads more, whoaha.

Today the open house performance was MUCH better than yesterday's because we did mic test and did not have so much trouble with it, so the volume was better and the mood better. But i still have to say, NYP open house still has a long way to go. The cca carnival like nobody come de~ argh!

Handed up the entrepreneurship with the 30 bux cover. The Zap shop was ultra daylight robbery. argh, but they still gave me my cover within one day la, not many shops can do that. put in sooo much effort for this stupid FYP and finally finished it, but only worth 25% argh! ridiculous~

Saw mel mel today at J8 bald for the first time, at first couldn't recognize him! He got interview today for PSC worrr.... so li hai. bu kui shi gong jiao valedictorian ~ Hope i can do well for exams and entre this sem, IP kind of given up hope le. I've been working till 3am every night for this entire week, its absolutely crazy! The report arh, scroll from top to bottom will take 30s~! Grammar check can take hours! Ok i going to slp le

Starstruck is finally over. If I were to rate the entire production:
Musical quality: 5.5/10
Marketing quality: 7/10
Stage production quality: 5.5/10
Entertainment Value: 8.5/10
Total score: 6.5/10

Took a long time to valuate and there are many reasons why the concert is given such a low score. Starts with the very short period of time to prepare, many rushed out songs, sound check not enough, quite low attendance, being in auditorium and NO interval making it so low class and the lack of experience of the year 1s. But personally, quire relief on the guan, dunno why clarinetist played so many wrong notes. Maybe what CK said is true bah, I been to syf before.

After the concert, I'm doubting myself at doing events. Made a whole load of mistakes, blurred by all the wrongs and fell sick, really sick. LOST my handphone... gosh! Now all my contacts gone... all my gong jiao contacts how to retrieve? sobzzz... I only invited 7 friends to the concert, which are my 5 CO juniors, Long lao shi and Wang Jiunn. Yesterday regina asked me about jap, my first thought was that hou minzheng's in NS~! So are dennis and melvin and zicheng and JJ. Luckily I did managed to help her solve most of the questions. At 3am, my dad was driving me around woodlands looking for 24hrs clinic and realised i couldn't call anyone for help.

Luckily Tekko miraculously is working in NYP for open house. $6 an hour just to pack goodie bags! What a great deal rite... so managed to meet up for lunch with him. Then after that is rush project rush project rush project... haven been doing much actually but haix~ Grades gonna suffer again. Today VC just briefed about internship and many people put events organizing. I really wonder, if a school concert is this much work, i really don't dare to think about the outside world.

I showed Tekko around NYP (he asked why so many fountains! I said our school fees 90% pay the electricity bill) and said he wanna do psychology sosci. And our beloved melvin, applied for two ivy leagues yet most of my poly friends dunno what an ivy league is. After so many weeks of drifting around the CO room and auditorium and SAO, I'm suddenly knocked back to my senses, back to my first semester. Suddenly realised my whole purpose of coming to poly is not just to have fun.

As of now, Swee Kuan should already be at tekong and a few others on their way there. Yesterday I went back to cat high to pass the concert tickets to Mr Wang. Step in school first person i met was lee hak boon, so didn't greeted him at all. The new securities ignored me so I jus walked into the school and realise the classrooms and teachers' room were empty. Wednesday afternoon, should be all at the hall ready for assembly. I met mneo and she confirmed this thought, told me to wait at the canteen for Mr Wang. I went to mixed veggie (the blue plate) and ordered le, then realised i didn't bring enough money! No atm! In fact, i only had 20c, so the aunty was nice enough to let me pay the next time I return to school. I thank her and sat down to eat in the canteen, very touched that she allowed me to do this. I didn't know if Mr Wang was coming, if not i would just put the ticket on his table. Luckily he came down to look for me, and i borrowed $2 from him to return aunty first. Still, where else would the aunty trust you and let you ji zhang?!

Then I rushed back to CO room to do our IP filming. Interstitial was a very difficult thing to film in the dark, then for the exercising segment, whoahaha so funny. Then wrapped up with the news segment and we're done in one day! Amazing!

Had the strangest new year countdown ever, done it online at Skype with angeline, weilin etc. Actually had a sense of resentment against the new year, because 99.9% of the guys on the left will be going into NS within this week. Sad to say, some actually clashed with my concert. Met Jeremy and Bert online, glad to say that they survived their first few weeks and should do fine. Justin, Alvin, Derrick, ZiWen will all be going NJC in 2 days time, which probably means it'll be harder to see or ask them to play mahjong in the future. Seems only yesterday when I received the call from my OGL to prepare for VJC orientation... its been 2 years.

So much things in 2006 to look forward to yet there seems to be a lack of adrenaline. For CO side, there's the Starstruck concert coming up this friday and quite disappointed that i still can't play the high D note, thus have to play one octave lower. Never actually felt nervous playing instrument (not even SYF) so this should be the first time. There's still so much things to do but shan't go on whining in the new year.

Saw something very interesting yesterday. A pirated barbie doll dressed in korean costume. It is the Da Chang Jing edition but the hair is blond! The whole set, with 2 other custumes, is worth $12.90! Cute but the hair spoilt the whole thing~! Argh!

I don't really believe in New Year Resolution but there are much that I want to achieve this year. Shall keep them secret :P but any good friend of mine should be able to guess some of it la. I oso haven list it down myself either.
