Then I met a scary person, a freshie in CO. He played dizi before and now learning suona. Today the 3rd lesson, he learnt what I took 3 months to learn. On the 2nd lesson, he said "I want to be committee member, help me find a post." so today I asked him "what post do you want to be?" At first he answered dunno, but I looked at him and then he said "maybe... take over you lo." 

Rewind 9 months ago, the president then... Xiao Na asked me if I want to be logistics. At first I said dunno, then I said "If you want me to do, I'll want to do my best and do THE best." 

Now, I see the reflection of myself and realise that I'm quite scary, we both are quite scary. Luckily we're in different batch, I'm not a politics person and CO dun hav much politics. It's my job to groom him lah. But next time if I go real world company and work, I better not say "I want to be the best"... haha cos i know now how the manager will feel. 

Today got guest lecturer, ch5 senior programmer. Answered a lot of our qns and gave out LOST lanyard!!! Watched the promos for upcoming series, we watched it before the advertisers do! Haha, so lucky! It's the most interesting lecture n guest speaker for the module n series!

25th June
Peggy woke me up at 12noon to call me go Bugis today. Wanna see how James look like after he shave his head for NS and pass him the videotape for LOST. Sophia, Angeline and Xiao Pang came along also. Went to the Chinese Games supplier at Fu Lu Shou complex, wanted to buy games but I know I sure don't have the determination to complete the game. Final Fantasy, the longest I've ever played was until disc 2 of FF9. FF Tactics I played till about 70% but it took me 3 years. So when the uncle recommended those 4-discs Jin Yong games, haha really no thanks! Can never complete de, somemore my com reformats every few months, so cannot save the game. 

Mama gonna give me money to buy clothes soon (she thinks my clothes all worn out or too little), so I just walked around Bugis. James wanted to buy cap but it was a tough effort trying to find a suitable cap for his big head, haha. Later some of them went to sing K but i already promised my grams to be home for dinner - crabs! Didn't do any work today again, haha... so slack! Tomorrow muz try to do something.

22nd June
2 nights ago, i played pool wif danielpoh until 3am. Siao on lah, n we tok and tok and tok. It's been so long since I had a heart-to-heart talk. Then I also tok with barry also~ haha. 

These few days really dunno what to blog about because life is so not exciting. Holiday but I'm returning to school like normal school day. Tomorrow should be going for Nat CO concert bah. Yay!

Eve just asked me why did I use hyper for my email (hyperterra). A lot of people asked me what is hyperterra as well, so now I shall reveal the photo of hyperterra.

Hyperterra is the animal that bomberman is riding on. So why did I choose hyperterra?! Ok, when I was primary 6, I started using the internet and then registering for hotmail that time, the usernames alexshieh or junfa etc all got used up. I don't like numbers or "-" or _1423 cos very hard to remember. So I pulled out all my play station games and started typing names from final fantasy, diablo, digimon etc. All used up, then came upon this game and the name hyperterra. Tat da! It got accepted!!! So from then on, the nick hyperterra became mine and it gets accepted in many other websites when I register, dun hav to crack my brain for a new userid. ONLY for Yahoo!, hyperterra is used by another guy. I tried to email him to let me have the account but he never replied. Sad case... anyway so at the end of the day. Hyperterra is a name, not hyper-terra. DanielPoh said terra is a kind of fish, so he called me hyper-fish or fishie! Some thinks that its hyper tera-byte (1000x giga-byte). All not true k~?!

19th June
Slack slack slack... I finished A Date with Vampire 3, very confusing plot. It's adapted from Matrix lah, even got 2 characters who can stop bullets! The storyline really... cheem but no depth, Matrix got depth and philosophies de. Then also took a chunk from Charmed, got the child coming back from the future. Then again, Ma Xiao Ling is still the attraction of the show... so its still quite nice!

Took like 3 days rest from school work. Two whole weeks and I only have 3 days rest... ok ok I know its quite a lot compared to those mugging for CTs so I won't complain. 

Wanted to go back to Cat High with sultan this week but the debates oso very slack, this week no training. >.< Have to wait until CHMA liaoz, 11 more days! Can't wait!!! 

17th June
Cloudy cool and breezy wind weather is the perfect day for tennis! Daniel Poh and I played tennis at NYP. We're just noobs when it comes to this but its fun! After a week of frantic search for tennis racquets and balls (I know its lame, ya! He wants to play tennis but no racquet or anything!) Finally got one from Alex Ko... he's now super tanned and built k~ Then again, still the small boy :)

So what happens when two noobs play tennis?! It's a competition to see who faults lesser! Fault=improper serve. Ok lah, he played before but I'm totally new. Still a far way from Kikumaru's acrobatic net play, lolx. 

(P.S. there was something that I wanna blog about at the start of the pervious paragraph but now I forgotten liaoz! bleahz!)

Moving on, its quite funny the way we play. OH!!!! I remembered what I wanted to say le! Jane (VJC bowler) once told me when the class went for bowling "It's no longer fun when you know how to play", I guess its true. It's more fun to just play like kids without rules and boundaries. So we played with no court, struggling to keep the ball going... haha! 

After that we had lunch at Food Junction, KK joined in as well. Daniel Poh saw Etsuko-sensei buying jap food, too bad Yuko-sensei wasn't at Food Junction!!! After that, went to meet Regina, Daniel's friend in NYP. She went "what are you doing in my school?" haha so funny! 

14th June
Guess what, School of Biz (the one I'm in) is starting its own debates team, the president is someone who was my friend and quitted the NYP debates team. The politics is getting into me and I'm very very perturbed, I mean... one institute and there's 2 of the same CCA? Ever since I joined, it hasn't really been fun and I'm really half-hearted. At CO, its so much more relaxing and fun and I'm willing to put time and effort into recruiting, organising parties and learning more. Debates is just a chore to me now, maybe its because it's been a long time since I went back Cat High debates bah.

I really dunno what is happening, i'm really ignorant. It was Jackie who told me about this. All I know is, ignorant is bliss. Now that I know about this new debate team, I'm so perplexed! Simran asked me to join SBM debates and recently, the NYP debates hasn't been very much supported by the school. I really hate the NYP bureaucracy, really horrible. SBM does a much better and faster job.

Maybe I should just wait and see how the SBM debate team does. Beggar can't be chooser but I'm not a beggar... will just have to see which side is better bah. It's really like SPH Channel U and Mediacorp?! I don't know how long the SBM debate team can last, neither do I know how long the NYP debate team can last. SBM thinks that the NYP debate team won't last long... So... rather than being caught in the politics, I'd use it to my advantage and choose the better one objectively bah, since I'm emotionally attached to neither.

I see 3 paths. One is I stick to NYP debates and face the uphill battle of reviving this half-dead team. Second is jump to SBM debates and face the unknown. Third is to totally get out of this and be a much happier Alex at CO. 

13th June
Club Crawl (CCA tour) was a success for the CO, got about 160 people who signed up at our booth. The bookmark we created was really really nice, now is left with letting them choose instruments on Tuesday. There were 27 people who has played/wanted Gu Zheng, thing is we don't have Gu Zheng and we don't need so many. The school may be interested with forming a Gu Zheng ensemble but the overwhelming response may just lead to over-expansion. 27 is a huge number, multiply that by 3 batches and you have about 80+ people and that is so much strongter than the current CO. The thought of that is very scary...

7th June
So many days never blog liaoz, yesterday my brother brought his friends over to play mahjong until 12mn. Poor me still having school loh... haix! Today so tired, not enough sleep lah. Then during T4's class was just, typing QiQuan's personal statement for DSA. Really abhor her class, she just go on and on on irrelevant stuff, one thing leads to another. Then everyone is on msn lah, haha, nobody listening to her. 

Syazwan they all went to paste the E.I poster. Seriously, the word idol has been trite, cliche and overused! Entrepreneurship Idol... I can imagine Wang Jiunn's reaction - unoriginal.  

Okay, Catholic High Music Awards tickets are still going on sales! This year they increase to 800 seats but only last 100 tix left! Better book now, call me!
