Then I listened to Chao Ji Nu Sheng (SuperGirl) i.e. China Idol. Dun really like the winner after hearing her, very tomboyish (think Cher). No wonder she didn't get a contract... haha. 3rd place Zhang Liang Ying nice~! I heard her rendition of Reflections and other chinese songs very nice. Then I streamed the finale of the show, they have a very exciting way of revealing the results. Each singer has a board with 6 slots. They pull the cards out one by one in turn, revealing the number of votes. From the ones, tens, hundreds, thousands... until the very last card. Very interesting way...

But the winner Lee Yu Chun win le like jus smile smile, makes bad reality tv. I hope when Kelly wins on thurs have better reactions! Some of the best winning moments in reality tv are:

- Kelly Clarkson winning American Idol! She immediately covered her tears in justin's arms and sang "A moment like this"
- Adrianne winning America's Next Top Model! When her big portrait was revealed, she was so stunned that she just stood rooted.
- Girls of The Swan! "Omg! I'm so beautiful!!! OMG! Thank you so much you all (surgeons + make up etc)!"
- Zora & Evan of Joe Millionaire. After the lies and deceits, Paul the butlet jus appeared with a million dollar check! Their eyes!
- Taufik winning SG Idol. Can't deny his victory post of having his fist in the air like a wrestler made news everywhere.
- Brian winning Survivor Thailand. Cool and calm, just sat there and nod and smile.

Came out with Terrence and Felicia, after numerous resistance I still forced to eat Pastamania. HAIX! I can hear eve screaming yay! So I ate salami pizza although I dun think there's anything to do with jho salami. Ok i'm jus crapping. Then I saw Lim Dao Wee today with his wife! 

Got an email from geocities that my bandwidth exceeded 11 times this month, meaning some of you may not be able to read this page sometimes. I'm so sorry for this and I've already tried to reduce the number of pictures and took away the music. 

CO is taking a lot of my time now, training the new batch of committee. Cos I've seen how Cat High fumbled after our batch left, and poor YiJun is still trying to save his NPCC to get back the gold. Melvin and Bert still helping out at St Johns regularly. Debates, haix... hopefully they get back in shape. So I tell myself, the good leader not only lead but also nurture the next batch of leaders to be better (qing chun yu lan).

So had the current committee to nominate people, 20 of them. Who will have what it takes to be The Apprentice?! haha no la, hopefully I can do well and nurture a good batch. and i warned them, if i see any signs of politics i'll throw them out "you're fired!"

Another thing is, yesterday talking to Desmama and he said NJC 4-4 people will have their own table during grad nite. Whoa! Mei you wo de fen... nvm bah, i'm glad that they're doing it... long live 4-4!

I'm boycotting West Mall. Its too small to squeeze 5000 people and it was raining, I was drenched la! My cam was so wet that it was spoilt, I hope tomorrow it'll be okay after I dry it. DanielPoh and Justin came and luckily got Justin's 6100 phone which took decent pictures. 

Got uncles and aunties shouting and screaming and buy 5 or more CDs. Super crazy loh, then got one aunty said "Kelly fans all no taste!" argh! But i shall be gracious and not talk bad about wei lian. But i din buy a CD lah, cos $7.50 for one track is really not worth it (2nd track is lao shu ai da mi!) so i'm not that crazy yet. 

But its fun la, daniel and i got wet wet wet! I think I'm a bad friend, he having A level still support him to go out. Bad senior oso, dai huai my junior justin... tomorrow his O level English oral wor! But no worries, bala is a good teacher and I taught him mneo's TPPUA! Theme-people-place-uniqueness-anticipate! 

Upon reaching home, went out wif my dad to look for vcd-rental shop. Searched very long around the neighbourhood... an hour or so. Finally found a shop at admiralty but dun have much movies, only TVBI series. So got 2 series with 4 cd each (not all) to test out. Cos today national day rally and there's no show to watch ma... haha. Die le loh, addicted!

Today has 3 huge events, so it'll be a pretty long post. Firstly about Dim Sum Dollies. Met Kelly and then Eve and they shopped for pants and shoes. The show started at 8pm on time and 3 mini-dollies child actresses started the show about going to primary 1 and all the stress that comes along with it. Then the dim sum dollies appeared from the top, suspended! Then had hunky loh-mai-guys who stripped from tuxedos into undies, abit the CHEAP ya. 

After a bad start, things got better with the political jokes. "Lee Hsien Loong establish great relationship with US and Bush. When I saw the pix of our PM shaking the hands of Bush, I found that they are sooo similar. They both resemble their father! We're now into the 2nd year of the dynasty" The uncontested presidential elections also very up to date, very funny. Then there's the one about IOC where there are icons from around the world but the Singapore Orchid and Merlions are not allowed to go in becos they're not officially national icon. The merlion had a spit bucket (tan pui) hahaha.

Then there's the part about Lend-a-hand-to-Singapore by donating sperms! Yup, lend a hand... to help the declining population, cos everyone work so hard and there's no time to do IT. So please go into the masterbatorium and do your part. Call 1900-sperm-01 to donate 20cc of sperm! haha that was dam funny.

Then there's something about heartlander stories, the foodcourt aunties always in a rush to take away your plates. Expansion (Expression) about women willing to do anything to boost their figures. Women's mid-life crisis at 40 as well. 

Later, the mini-dollies had another great scene about The Last Resort. One was mugging math and another girl said: 

"These questions are too hard, you just need to know how to do your addition. 
"What is 4+5?" ..........."9"
"What is 10+5?"........"15"
"What is 10+1?"......."BLACKJACK!"

Then they sang "The more we play together, together together, the more we play together, the richer we'll be. And you chips are my chips and my chips are MY chips, the more we play together, the richer we'll be. " Sooo cute the little girls, i think about 7 years old. One of them was wearing light green wif dark green pinafold = TKGS! SO CUTE! Another was wearing St Nicks primary uniform. 

While some parts like the Bollywood totally didn't make sense, the Zhang Ziyi one was ultra funny. Hossan Leong acted as Bruce Lee - first asian star in Hollywood. Then there was Lucy Liu and last came Zhang Ziyi. Lucy and Ziyi started bitching...

Then they started fighting. At first I was like... har?! What is too salty? Then while they were fighting, Ziyi kept saying "The soup is too salty!" bcos that's the only English line that she knows. HAHA! Then I realise its the citibank advertisement, Ziyi walks into the restaurant and says The soup is too salty, den the chef comes angrily with his men and fought ziyi. Then ziyi paid for everything with the credit card.

They had a part where they did the Price is Right and introduced all the sponsors like Tangs, Silk Air and the Honda car. Described the Honda engine and space and all... down right advertisement overdose! The finale where they sang all the "We are Singapore" and "Rasa Saya" and "Singapura" was just .... bleahx! Feels like primary school, ick! 

Overall, the show had great ideas and laughable content, though some were jus cheap jokes. The ending was jus errr... cmi, the feel-good i luv singapore ending. Ok, I paid only $4 for it so its all worth it!

OK now for part 2. I flipped Today today and actually read a petition from a Victoria School class against the school proposing to go Co-ed. The reasons that the Victoria Advisory Committee cited were "Results are dropping for the past 5 years. Girls do better in academics. Single-sex schools cannot offer IP and thus there's brain-drain. So going co-ed will help the school in all ways". 

My first reaction : "Lee Hak Boon, you better dun even THINK about it!" hahaha... its jus plain STUPID!"

Firstly, you destroy the tradition and fun of being a single-sex school! 2nd, co-ed will make it worse, just look at the top 10 schools and only RV and DHS are co-ed... and the school spirit will be gone~ RV and DHS ya lah... no sch spirit de. The funny thing is, they said if they go co-ed will become another neighbourhood school - Siglap Link Secondary (cos they're located at Siglap Link) hahaha! 3rd, get girls just to push the grades higher?! Gosh, its jus slamming your own boys! 4th, why is MOE so stupid, only allow co-ed schools to offer IP or make it compulsory for schools to ally "ri-rgs-rjc" or "hci-nygh-hci(jc)", why can't vs-vjc be possible? So inflexible~! 

Then Mrs Chan, VJC principal and VAC secretary was supportive of vs going co-ed. I'm so disappointed in her, i thot she's very good principal, den she wanted the change VJC school song. Although I was there only for 3 months arh, but found the school song really meaningful and nice, how can anyhow change school song?! Luckily the school disapprove and she drop the idea. 

Li Hui and I were discussing and Li Hui said "oh no, does that mean Cedar and Cat High have to go co-ed to survive IP?" So we're both against VS going co-ed also, same with all the VS students. Rumors say that tomorrow all the VS alumni and students in Orchard will wear the bumble bee yellow-black pe tshirt. Will be a nice sight, haha! Imagine they rally outside Istana and Nathan come out n say "I as the president of Singapore and alumni of Victoria School, says that all single-sex school cannot go co-ed!" Wooo! 

Seriously, if I didn't move house to woodlands and stayed in Kallang, I would have entered VS, whoahah cos i like the PE tshirt n the school. But Cat High better la... haha. Still, single-sex school rox so much better and I say again - Lee Hak Boon, dun even flirt with the idea!

Sidenote, A level curriculum will change. Muz tell my junior le, siao loh. Moe gone crazy again, must do drastic change every few months. DSA was okay but too rush, cancelled first 3 mths den have the first 3 mths again, making my life so difficult cos i hav to study in DEC bcos now poly starts in april, introduce horrible PW, scrape chinese for entry to Uni, now change A lvl curriculum... siao one loh.

Lastly the 3rd event, KELLY WON! haha, my papa woke up when i screamed and he was like "What happened?" hahaha. Daniel Poh super happy la. But hor the CD is a rip-off. $9.90 for a single which contain 2 songs, one being the set piece "Tong Hua" - for wei lian and "Yi shi de mai hao" for kelly. The 2nd song is the disgusting you-guessed-it Lao shu ai da mi! yeeeeeee.... I can't imagine paying 10 bux for one song! Still, kelly won haha! V. happy.

Yesterday play badminton and did stupid and lame things for forfeit like going to guys and girl toilet in the sports hall. Chao lame... Towards the end quite tired, haha~

On a serene peaceful Sunday morning, my handphone rang and it was DanielPoh using ZiCheng's hp "Wei! Alex arh, you free today? Come down to Orchard, give you 30 mins rush down now. Watch Superstar!" So haha pack my bag (camera, waterbottle, essentials, umbrella) to be totally prepared as Jue Dui fanz~ 

Rushed down and had a prime location at the railings can stand on it. Snapped about 60pix of the 4 - Kelly ( DanielPoh: Woooo!!! Kelly, I love you! ) Wei Lian, Jun Yang and Xin Hui. Kelly quite chio la, Jun Yang quite cute also. Kelly fans are the loudest haha, must support her wor! That DanielPoh, come without camera or anything lo, no experience... den keep saying he grown up le, 18 yrs old le. Accuse me flirt her mei mei~ Is he let his mei mei use his MSN account den I start toking to her de loh... Anyway, the entire day Daniel Poh tell everyone and us "I met Kelly today!!!" and happiest day of dunno wat.

Then after lunch, ZiCheng say he must go to SAF scholarship seminar, his parents wants him to go. We reach there, he already late le den dun want to go, wanna shop for his clothes. Whoahaha~ so we were at good ol' Suntec. 

While walking, ZiCheng and DanielPoh suddenly talked about physics magnetism. Then Daniel Poh said "Alex Sorry arh, we take 2 minutes." At that moment I was so soooooooo touched! With every other gong jiao people, they discuss abt PW or Common Test or SPA or A lvl stuff, they'll be indulging immensely in it and cannot pull out of it (understandable) and den I'll be left alone. Totally understandable and I fully prepare myself when I decided to come poly. Only this time DanielPoh aware that I'll be left out in the convo... soooo touched! Thank you~!

Then walk walk walk around n helping Zi Cheng to buy his clothes, whoa more tiring than following girls sia. Follow girls can sit around but with ZiCheng, must help him choose n all - no rest! Whoaha, DanielPoh kept complaining n sat down later at every store (eh, u were in NPCC and dragonboat leh!) Went TOPMEN, Bods, Maui&Sons, S&K, Nike, Adidas, Fila, even Lacoste (crocodile) and so many other shops around Suntec. DanielPoh got the Adidas deodorant... dam cheap but I hate the smell of such things.

Oh, I met NYP Deen at Citylink Adidas shop working! NYP Jin shan, CHS Chee Teck and a couple other guys who ZC n DanielPoh recognise from other class de. Sunday go out sure meet people, singapore too small le.

Then we saw Chen Song Ling - Song Song!!! and Evonne Hsu Hui Xin! Too bad can't take photos cos I was at 2nd storey. Then ZiCheng bought a puma shirt and others, suits him well. Then went for dinner.

Promised to dedicate this event with a paragraph. At the food court, 3 of us super cui, sit down dun want to stand up le. So... loser of the Black Sheep White Sheep game will go n buy. Very quickly I won ZiCheng. But ZiCheng and DanielPoh arh... "Black sheep baa baa, White sheep baa, Black sheep baa baa, Black sheep baa baa, White sheep baa!" endless sia~! Then we attracted unwanted attention!!! SO MALU~! (Yes I came up with the idea...ZC wanted chopsticks) 3 guys playing hand games~! Whoahaha... in the end Daniel lost after sooo long. I couldn't stop laughing while they were playing.

Then on the shuttle bus to MRT, singing like dunno wat. Actually entire day Danielpoh singing jaychou's song la, den I dian ge (pick songs). Should have gone kbox... SO we set after visit teachers on 31st Aug, go Kbox~! Anyone from Gong Jiao can leave msg or contact me if you wanna go... if a lot of people can will try to book bigger room! 

After that, we separated and I went to Marina Bay to meet up with KK syaz, yiting and kelly. The 400A really cheat money, dun bring us all the way to the steamboat, only travel 2 stops. The uncle still dare to say it goes to the steamboat area! Still have to walk a long way lo, cheat money!!! Stupid SBS!

Then got some Teen Idol radio contest winner, sang Qi Li Xiang by Jay Chou... OMG! ARRRR!!!!! He change the song until, omg, horrors!!! We were all gonna puke, (Syaz said those live prawns would rather jump into the steamboat n commit suicide) Then the fireworks... got music synchronisation but I thought last year's American one was still the best la. Then we sat down at the stands facing the concert... the mud stinks like we're at the zoo. Saw Song Song and Evonne again. Then also got Tweety~! New taiwan pair like Twins-wannabe.

Then walk back, the board says 15 min but it took soooooo long. Walk in the dark, walk walk walk, got on MRT. On the MRT kelly say her leg cramp, like oh no! I oso dunno how to react, cos she wearing high heels. Nu ren ai mei wat... Then finally got home and saw my dad and brother playing Tumblebugs together...

What a fun day!

Still feeling a little blue, although I was playing PS2 the whole day but once I get into the night, all the thoughts came rushing back. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. 

More people finished exams today le, all very worried about marks. Then I say "Pray for moderation bah...", if its the legendary RGS moderation method then better still rite (square root the score x 10, so if you get 49, it'll be mod to 70 marks). 

Just now watching Come On Shoot on Ch. U toking about branded goods. David Gan very funny, say that the Earth is round, things must come and go. There must be designers and buyers then the Earth can continue spinning. Got a teen say his tshirt like lion dance group, bcos of the neon green against black polo tee. David expression change n tell him to improve his fashion sense, so funny! Then the adults say teenagers know more abt brands than the impt stuff, like who's the deputy prime minister. 

Seriously, I was stump for a few seconds and had a very not-confident answer- Dr Tony Tan. The Hai Sing Cat students all stump oso, except 1... still forgivable lah cos really mah, who knows?! Tony Tan rarely appears on news or tv... maybe not even once a month! Den got a girl who dun even know who the PM is! That is serious... haha~ 

Talking about brand, haha I dun really go after it... no need and no money oso. But next time when i work, there's one brand that I'll definitely buy... i jus like the design since young (sec 1 or 2). Nobody will ever guess it, its TIMBERLAND! dun ask me why, but I also cannot give u a definite answer. It's the design and colour and jackets (I scared of cold! brrr) and the construction-lumberjack like clothing and not many people wear it although everyone knows it. Next time when I work and have money to buy then think ba...

Almost half the month is gone and there's only 2 posts, yup can see how busy I am. Luckily today is last paper and I'm going to be physically sick and exhausted from all the mugging. Time is just slowly passing and probably because of all the stress, abit hysterical and complex now... brain cannot stop thinking of loads of things.

I'm trying to press the red button and stop the train of thoughts now. Come to think of it, more than a month never go back cat high le. Anticipating the Teachers' Day gathering. Just now saw Simple Plan's Untitled MTV, very nice and touching. The MTV is abt the singer who drink and drive, break apart people's family. 

.... Ok i'm stuck for about 5 minutes, really dunno how to express it into words lo. Complicated sia... its racing through to the game I wanna play, what time to wake up tomorrow, my memories wif sweekuan, national day celebrations, esplanade, debates, LOST which I just watched. Think I better stop.

It's been quite some time since I've blogged. Basically was mugging through the entire week for exams, like 6-9 hours per day. Crazy sia, mugged harder than anything before. Luckily yesterday had a little break which was the CO bbq.

Though there were many problems along the way like not enough food and drinks, the last part was very fun and very HIGH! Trying to finish the water so played Zhong ji mi ma. Screamed, sang, tok very loud on the bus~ Teck Han was ultra hyperactive until the train where his system shut down. 

Experimenting with food at the bbq pit. BBQ biscuits, bread&butter, banana (high demand!!!) and Jasmine came up with Kebabs. A lot of alumni came also, about 8 of them. If you ask me, alumni are a key performance indicator and sign of a great CCA. It differentiates the good ones from the great ones. 

Oh, and i saw people canoeing at Pasir Ris Park... feel like canoeing also haha~
