Our program strategy consisted in working with local GOs to empower communities, provide leadership and address socio-economic issues. The achievements in the F.Y, 2056/2057 have been found encouraging and motivating. This has formed a strong base to move forward in the future. The interest, enthusiasm, dedication and support from WHO, National Center for AIDS and STD Control, AIDS coordination section DDC, Morang, local administration, District, NGOs, federation, Medical Doctors and social workers were of high importance and are eventually leading towards the continuation of the HIV/AIDS and drug abuse prevention programs in the Eastern Region of Nepal. WHO DrNCASC Director Taranand Jha, Chair Person, DDC Morang, members of District AIDS Coordination section and local administrators deserve deep appreciation for their involvement and support. I also express my sincere thanks to Medical Doctors of Koshi Zonal hospitals for their support and useful advice. I also express my appreciation to all the members of Help Group for their tireless effort in coordination and implanting program activities.
