Major Responsibilities:

Develop annual programs / plan for Help Group with main focus on Advocacy, Capacity building in prevention of Drug Abuse and Harm Reduction, Technical support.

Develop Proposals for program activities regarding HIV/AIDS/STD prevention, care and support, Harm Reduction among IDUs.

Promote Environmental Sanitation and Women Empowerment through mobilization of Women's Group.

Coordinate and collaborate with governmental and Non-Governmental organizations, partners for effective program implementation.

Coordinate with various donor agencies, local authorities, and private sectors to mobilize resources for project activities.

Organize Programs according to workplan of Help Group, Supervise, and monitor and evaluate the program activities.

Prepare activity report, annual report of Help Group and submit to President of Help Group and concerning agencies.

Conduct Classes on STD/HIV/AIDS and Drug Abuse for most vulnerable groups like school youths as per programs conducted by Help Group and provide technical support for other institution as requested.

Contribution in IEC and other activities

Prepared Brosure, Poster and Pamphlets on HIV/AIDS/STD prevention and care, sanitation.
Involved in Rapid Assessment of IDUs conducted in 1999 by National Centre for AIDS and STD Control, Teku.
