Day 17: Chilling in Zurich, Switzerland

We got in Zurich pretty in shape and ready to drop the backpack somewhere, take a shower and sleep. So we got into this hostel, probably that we called from the train station. For one night, he was argueing for a higher price but I think somehow we managed to pay. The next day, on July 24, the weather was really nice and we had a glimpse at the lake Lausanne from the train, so we decided to explore the city.

There is a boardwalk around the lake in Zurich, and some gardens too. We encountered a lot of roller skaters and we missed ours. Those are definetely too heavy for a backpacking trip. We dragged ourselves into this park and found out they were playing a movie outdoor. It wasn't free though and because we didnt want to pay the fee, we setled outside the arena, near the lake and tried to see the screen. A lot of people thought to do the same so there we were, stuck on the gras, near the water. If we moved, we would have lost ou space. It was alright though, we kind of cat napped and played with the water. More specifically, tried to soothe our aching feet in the water. I don't remeber what happened but at some point Caro slipped and ended up totally soaked. So then we had to lay down her clothes and tried to dry hem before sunset!

I did'nt notice much chocolate yet but I was beginning to crave for it. We left Zurich quite late at night to continue our journey in Switzerland.
