WASHINGTON, DC I have transited several times in DC, once with families, and this section will mainly focus on the DC trip with Himu on Thanksgiving break 2002. After attending my sister's surgery in Illinois, and missing my Mom's stay, I decided to go on the Thanksgiving break offered by Cranwell. It was a 4 day trip, by bus and staying in a hotel in NoVA for cheap. We left early one saturday morning around 8am and got to NoVA around 1pm. We still had to wait for our rooms to be ready. Anyway i ended up being roomed with some Indian girl who actually never slept there. So the room was all mine.	Things we did: -Visit the Museums at the Mall area. The Mall in DC is the zone where all the museums are. That's the Smithsonian, the Aerospace Museum, etc.. -Look for Chinatown -Take pictures in front of all landmarks, such as the Lincoln memorial, the White House (again!), and the obelisk...wonder how they call that one. We even took pictures in front of the FBI buildig but it didnt turn out nice. -Visit Georgetown
