I tried to fall asleep, knowing that I would need as much rest as I could get. I knew the final battle was going to start in a few days. With my arm feeling like it was now, I knew I wouldn't have a chance to win against Duo, unless I transformed into my GF form.
When I finally feel asleep Shiva contacted me. Shiva looked as though she might have been in a catfight.
"Shiva, what happened to you?" I asked sounding worried.
"We were in a battle and we barely won, but we lost many friends," Shiva said as she fell down.
"Mother!" I yelled as I ran over to Shiva.
"That is the first time I heard you call me that in a long time," Shiva said.
"Shiva, please hold on," I pleaded. "I need to know the answer to this, if I turn back into a GF will I have to come back to this world and I will never be able to return to the humans world unless summoned?"
"That would be correct," Shiva said as she past out.
"No!" I screamed. I held my mother in my arms and rocked her back and forth. I knew I had no other choice, but to transform into my true GF form and finish Duo before he finishes the GF world.
I got up and started to walk around the new, but yet familiar world. I noticed some trees were bent and had fallen over; I also saw some houses were on fire. I walked over to a house that was still on fire but appeared to be holding up. I entered the house and I saw one of my GF's, White Blaze.
"Hello," I said to White Blaze.
White Blaze looked up at me and I could tell he was in very much pain. He then said, "Hello, Amara."
I was surprised that he knew my name. "Are you all right?" I asked.
White Blaze got up and came over to me and said, "No, I don't think any GF's are all right. A lot of us, we got hurt pretty badly in the fight. Why and how can you be here?"
"I, too, am I GF, but I live just like a human in their life. My mother wanted me to live a life she couldn't have," I said also thinking that saying this stupid saying over and over again, kind of was sad.
White Blaze stared at me for a long time and then said, "You can't be the legendary GF. You just can't be."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
White Blaze sighed and said, "The legend says that once a GF lives on the other side, the side we GF's can only see when we are summoned, there will be another war. The war though this time will be against the GF's and an unknown force. The GF that lives on the other side will one day come back to their birthplace and be summoned back as their true form and defeat the unknown force. I thought it was just a silly old legend, but I guess I was wrong."
"Let me get this straight, I am the legendary GF that is going to save the rest of the GF's?" I asked.
"In not so many words, yes," White Blaze stated.
"I just wish though that I could have came back and have fought along side of you, but I couldn't, I'm sorry," I said.
"You say sorry way too much, Amara," White Blaze said.
I then heard my name being called inside my head. I shook my head trying to figure out what was going on. I then told White Blaze, "I think I should go and wake up right now. I promise though I will defeat the unknown force that did this to your land."
"You don't have to promise me anything. Just do your best and you will always succeed," White Blaze reassured me.
I then woke up from my short, yet long nap. When I awoke I saw Heero was by my bedside. "Hello, Heero," I said.
"Good evening," Heero said. "Squall told us all about today and it appears that you had a pretty rough day."
"It was an abnormal day and lets just leave it at that," I said. I got up and walked out the room with Heero by my side. "Heero, may I ask you something?"
"You can ask me whatever you want. You should know that by now," Heero stated.
"Would you miss me if I was gone?" I asked.
"I know I would, but to be honest I think we all would," Heero said as he put his arm around me.
I looked up at Heero and smiled.
"You know that is the first time you ever really smiled at me," Heero joked.
"What, you don't like it when I smile?" I joked back.
"I love it when you smile," Heero said as he gave me a peek on my cheek.
