Chapter 6: A New Mission?

"Heero, is something the matter?" I asked.

"No. I was just thinking about what happened yesterday. I almost lost you," Heero stated.

"Heero, you can never lose me no matter what. We better report to Electra," I said.

"We already did and she said that Vash is working with The Illusionist. The Illusionist is a very powerful man and if Vash wants he could blow up anything and everything he wants to. We have to stop Vash and The Illusionist," Heero stated.

"I want to talk to Electra myself and ask her some questions," I said as I got up and left the room. I then found Electra and said, "Electra, tell me everything you know about The Illusionist and Vash."

"I don't know much, but what I do know are the facts. The Illusionist wants world domination, but first he wants to wipe out the only force that could defeat him and that force is what we call GF's. I then believe The Illusionist will try to wipe out the SeeD's. I wish I knew more but I don't. I'm sorry," Electra stated.

"No that information was more than enough for now," I said. "And since we found the president our mission here is down, I'm I correct?"

"You are correct, but if you want I could take some of your SeeD members to one of many of The Illusionist hideouts. That way you and some others could report back to your headmaster and tell him that the Garden may be in danger because of The Illusionist," Electra stated.

"That would be wonderful. Heero, Chaos, and I will make up the Garden team. Electra, Alex, Zell, and Irvine will make up the hideout team. Electra you are the captain of that team. I expect that you, Electra, will take good care of my teammates, as I will with yours," I said.

"You can count on me, Amara," Electra said. "We better get going, just in case The Illusionist decides to attack the Gardens. I'm sure you already know this, but you do know that the Garden can fly, right Amara?"

"Yes, I do know that. Lets move out and inform the others," I said. "Electra, after you are done showing everyone the hideout, lets meet up at Balamb Garden. Until then take care and be careful."

I found Heero and Chaos and I told them that we were to go to Balamb Garden and inform the Garden that The Illusionist may attack the Garden. I also told them that the others were going to try and blow up one of The Illusionist hideouts. We then got on a train back to Balamb Garden and reported to Headmaster Cid.

Then Cid went over to the speaker and said, "Will Andrew Spyke please come to the headmaster's office. I repeat, will Andrew Spyke please come to the headmaster's office." Cid then turned off the speaker and then said to us, "Amara, how would you like to be the new SeeD assistant captain?"

"I would be honored to be the SeeD assistant captain, but." before I could finish my sentence Cid started talking.

"That is good then. As soon as Andrew gets here I will inform the Garden that you, Amara, are the new SeeD assistant captain. Then, Amara, you should give a speech on the speaker," Cid stated.

"Alright," I said as I thought, great now what am I getting into. Cid didn't even hear me out on what I was going to say. If I became the new SeeD assistant captain, I might not be able to help the GF's.

Cid turned on the speakers as Andrew came into the room and stated, "Good afternoon everyone. I have a very important statement to make. As of today Amara Masumi will be the new SeeD assistant captain. Here is Amara to make a statement."

"I really don't have a speech ready so just turn the damn thing off and just let me continue with my life," I said.

"But Amara you are to make a speech," Cid said.

"Turn the speaker off now before I slash it with one of my twin gun blades," I replied.

"Alright," Cid said as he turned off the speakers.

"Thank you. Cid we must move the Garden now. The Illusionist may be attacking the Gardens as we speak," I stated.

"I know. Andrew will you be willing to pilot the Garden?" asked Cid.

"Sure, it would be my honor," Andrew replied.

"Then I will show you the controls," Cid said as he showed Andrew the controls.

"I'm out of here," I said as I started to walk to the elevator.

"Where are you going?" Heero asked.

"I'm going to my room. Going to go take a nap," I replied.

"Maybe when you wake up from your nap you could show me around the Garden," Chaos asked.

"Ask someone else," I replied.

"Amara," Heero said. "If there is anything on your mind, please tell me."

"The only thing on my mind is to go and take a nap. So if you two don't mind I'm going to bed," I said as I left the office.

I then went straight to my room and fell asleep on my bed. Shiva contacted me again while I was asleep.

"Amara, our world is falling apart. Already the forests and the oceans are becoming nothing. We need to stop whatever is destroying our world now," Shiva told me.

"Shiva, I wish I could help you more than I am, but I can't. I was just promoted to the SeeD assistant captain and I have so much stress I can't do all that much to help you. I'm sorry," I said.

"Shiva, I told you not to keep summoning Amara here," Ifrit said. "But since you are here, Amara, I just found out that The Illusionist is the one destroying this world."

"I already figured that out and I am going to find The Illusionist as soon as I can, but now since I am a SeeD assistant captain things are going to be harder for me," I stated.

"Amara, I want you just to be happy with what you are doing in life. Shiva let Amara go to her own dreams now," Ifrit suggested.

"Alright. Amara, I am sorry that I keep bugging you with our problems," Shiva said as she brought me back to my own dream world.
