Tal Stranger, You now find yourself at the entrance stone of the Wagon Camp of the Kassars, the Blood People of the Plains of Turia. This is the Land of the Wagon Peoples. Camp is made on the windswept plains, near a mighty herd of ponderous bosk, Mother of the Wagon Peoples, that now graze peacefully on prairie grass. The Kassar are nomads and their very survival depends on the bosk. You are advised to tread cautiously for you will be considered a stranger among Kassar, an enemy until proven otherwise. As you approach, brightly colored wagons draw your eye, the hides of bosk dyed brilliant vibrant colors cover the domelike wagons in which the Kassar dwell. The wagons are arranged in a circle with only one entrance/exit. Suddenly, you are flanked by two large armed Warriors, their approach so swift and quiet that they seem to come out of nowhere. These are fearsome Kassar Warriors. Your attention is drawn to boldly colored chevrons streaking their faces; the bright red Courage Scar formed at the top followed by the rest. The larger warrior eyes you warily and growls, "Keep your weapons, but enter in peace as Kassar is a kill and collar zone." Upon entrance you see a larger wagon and a dais near the center of the wagons. There reigning over the camp is the Ubar of Kassar, surrounded by trophies and riches of his conquests. Ever present at his right is his Commanders of Oralu and trusted Warriors at his back. Around the fires you hear the relaxed talk of the camp warriors, wagering and boasting stories of battles fought, as they keep a wary eye on you. Perhaps men are sparring within the makeshift pits, or a beautiful kajira dances brazenly in the sand. Kassar kajira are the finest kajira in the land and with a mere glance from a Warrior they rush to serve you roasted bosk, blackbread and burning paga nearly as hot as the girl who serves it. If you stay and take advantage of our hospitality, we expect that you will follow our rules while in our home, troublemakers are dealt with swiftly in Kassar... For now, Welcome. "Also, you have three options upon entering Kassar as an uncollared slave; choose wisely for it will likely be the last choice you are given. You may config an ~o and observe quietly, submit to a collar or leave." HAIL KASSAR!!! |
