Having apparently died before her husband, after his death Henry SHARER of Donegal Township and John SHARER of Dauphin Co. were appointed guardians of her daughters. I believe these to be her brothers and the sons of John SHEARER (died 1757, Lancaster Co.) who married Catherine (Unknown) in 1737. John apparently came to America on the Thistle of Glasgow on 29 August 1730 (which could make him a brother of Ulrich of Berks Co). If Barbara is indeed the sister of Henry and John, then she was first married to John SNYDER. One of her husband's daughters by his first marriage married a Peter SNYDER - a step-brother and son of Barbara's first marriage?
