extras THE BOY'S MATCHES

///// THE BOY IN RAMPAGE WORLD WRESTLING /////

The Rookies Do Battle vs. White Dragon

This was my very first match in efedding. I really liked it because I had a great time roleplaying for this match, as the White Dragon (later known in RWW as Chris Jericho) was a great opponent who really forced me to work hard. I remember one roleplay in particular where The Boy, trying to get into his opponent's head, decided to play Chopsticks on the piano, thinking that would somehow help him understand his opponent who was supposedly of Asian descent. It's so offensive, I love it. I also liked this match because it set something up between Stupac and I, which at that time was just a pipedream for me. You will notice this is a great example of the match quality early in RWW history, as it is a bit short. BUT, look at it this way: we pretty much NEVER had problems with getting results up on time. I would prefer it if more feds did their results like this. Anyway, this one is special to me.

RWW Intercontinental Title Match vs. Sycho Sid (c)

This next match is the one in which I won the Intercontinental Title for the very first time. I couldn't believe it, I had only been efedding for a short time and I was already awarded a title. Little did I know how successful an Intercontinental Champion I was to become. This match is against Sycho Sid and it created a memorable roleplay where I went to a home to examine crazy people, to better get into Sid's head. Naturally it was very much like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It's too bad, but I cannot find that roleplay. Anyway, go me for beating Sid.

RWW Intercontinental Title Match vs. The Abyss

This would be my last match as IC Champ before giving it up shortly after this pay-per-view. Fortunately, I won it right back, making me a two-time champion without ever having lost it. Because this pay per view was all about RWW defending itself against rival factions, I was honoured (no pun intended-well maybe a little bit) to get a big win at the show. Abyss was hardly a classic foe, but it was still a nice win. It was also nice being involved in the undercard, rather than the main event with the central focus of defending RWW. Less pressure that way I guess.

Non-Title Steel Cage Match vs. Killer Instinct

This is easily one of my favourite matches of all time. See, prior to this, I don't believe I had ever been in a main event. At least not one-on-one, that's for sure. As well, here I was facing off against the champion. It didn't matter to me that it was a non-title match, it was a main event match against the freakin' champion! Not only that, but I got to win too! This match inspired me to work hard at becomming a big time player in Rampage World Wrestling. It truly was awesome reading this when the results were posted.

RWW Intercontinental Match vs. Matt Mathers

The match where I won the IC Title for a second time. At this point, no one else was holding the title; it was vacant ever since I dropped it. I always loved taking on Matt Mathers and he is easily one of my favourite opponents. What I liked about this match is how The Boy keeps comming back for more, even though, in reality, Mathers kinda kicks his ass there for a bit. Sure, I had a bit of help from Lancelot, but only because Mathers was cheating too. I remember thinking at the time that I couldn't see why they wanted to keep me stuck in the IC division and not moving me onto the US or something else, but looking back at it, I'm really glad they did. I had way more fun being IC Champion and I think my reign eventually brought some prestige to that title.

RWW World Title Match vs. Stupac (c) w/ Special Guest Referee: Rob Gamble

This match was my first-ever main event at a pay per view and my first World Title shot. Not bad considering I had only been in the world of efedding for a few months by that time. I loved the way this match ended and how it began both the inclusion of Stupac into PSI but also the epic angle with Mercy. Rob Gamble is a genius.

Regular Match vs. Too Tuff

Well this isn't my best match, but I always enjoyed having Too Tuff as an opponent. This match was even better because it came right before Blaze of Glory, where I took on Jay Zee. This match gave me a nice win heading into the PPV, which was even better because I got a win over Too Tuff, who was one of Jay's allies at the time. And it's an even bigger bonus knowing I beat the guy who was the champion at that time. I also love any match where The Boy has to cheat to win.

TLC Match vs. "Mr. Style" Jay Zee w/ The Rights to PSI on the Line

From "the crazy phase." This is an epic match, and possibly my favourite ever (heck, I wrote it, it HAS to be great!). I wanted to prove that The Boy had a mean streak and that he really hated Jay Zee. I also wanted to portray Jay as someone who wouldn't give up, no matter what. I also had to finish Jay off in a way that could theoretically end someone's career and I think I did that. There are a lot of high spots in this match, but I always felt like Blaze of Glory was the RWW equivalent of Wrestlemania and it should be a huge matchup. This was the culmination of one my favourite feuds and angles (the notion of the "Real PSI"), although the whole setup could have been that much better if Josh had a little more time to devote to roleplaying. Still, an epic match that I personally love.

RWW Undisputed Title Match (Street Fight Rules) vs. Bombtrack (c)

Well I'm normally not a fan of extreme hardcore style matches, but this one did help to cement The Boy as a real threat in the ring. The Boy was put through hell and yet still managed to come out on top. No matter what though, this match is special because it marks the first time I ever won the World Title (or Undisputed Title, depending on who you ask). Plus, it was an honour to dethrone someone like Bombtrack too.

RWW Undisputed Title Match vs. Big Daddy Bruce (c)

This is another match that made The Boy look unbeatable. I love the fact that I never gave up. This one is rare in that The Boy was actually working as a face. I also loved the fact that they made me look strong in front of a Canadian audience. Another epic match, even though I didn't win.

///// THE BOY IN NO SURRENDER WRESTLING /////

NSW United States Title Match (Ladder Match) vs. David Lee

This is my first match in No Surrender Wrestling, where I won the United States Title. I liked it because I felt it made me look like a serious competitor. Normally I don't care if I win titles or not, but I really wanted to win this one I admit. Why? Well I figured it out and I really haven't been doing much efedding for a long time, minus a few short stints here or there in some other feds. Nor have I won a title of any kind since I won the World Title on June 30, 2002 back in RWW. Even though I haven't been too into efedding since then, that is a LONG time to go without winning anything. And, plus, all my success came in RWW, so I wanted to prove to myself that I could be a champion elsewhere. And now I have proven that, so I don't care if I lose it or not.

NSW United States Title Match (Falls Count Anywhere) vs. Jake Hero vs. Jason Maverick

My first ever pay-per-view match in NSW and my first United States Title defense. I was a little shocked how early I was eliminated (earlier in the show the match was made into an elimination rules match, due to Maverick and myself fighting backstage), but I understood why. See, I had already agreed to feud with Maverick and then Jake Hero (aka Rob Gamble) came along and fit so well into the feud that we wanted to make it a three-way for the US Title. It would have been amazing. It's too bad I didn't hold on to the title a little longer though and REALLY too bad that NSW shut down before the feud could ever escalate further.

///// THE BOY IN NEW ERA WRESTLING /////

Regular Match vs. Kevin Cosmos

This was my first match in New Era Wrestling. The entire time I was in NEW I felt a little over my head; the people there seemed to all be great roleplayers who were far more dedicated than I was. Plus, there was a major storyline involving a war between NEW and RWW, which I was a little out of the loop from. It's always hard to come into a fed that is in the middle of a major storyline and get yourself established. As you can see, I never really did. I was excited to win this match because it showed me that facing me was not going to be a cakewalk.

Regular Match vs. Creature

Although I lost this match, it was noteworthy because I saw that in the results it noticed that I may have hurt myself, which was the beginning of the "injured neck" angle that saw the introduction of Nurse Laurier. Although I was bitterly disappointed I didn't win (I felt I did a good enough job roleplaying to justify a win), it was nice to see that they didn't bury me and gave me a good match at least. There's a definite reason Creature was on top of NEW and he showed it when we were roleplaying. It was tough and I was happy that I came away looking this strong.

Number One Contenders Match vs. Mercy

It's always great to work with Chris and it had been so long since The Boy ran into Mercy that this was match was going to be a classic encounter no matter what. I really enjoyed this one; it felt like old times with Mercy and The Boy battling it out at a PPV (it took place in Toronto too, so that was an added bonus...go Canadian Legend!)

Regular Match vs. Nick Kelly

Having finished with my mini feud with Mercy, it seemed like The Boy was destined to take on Nick Kelly. Of course, shortly thereafter the second semester started, I got busy at school and then I started to lose the desire to roleplay once again and, well...it all fell apart from there. BUT this match was awesome because I technically won it, which at the time was HUGE. Nick Kelly and his partner Jess Gaytes were pretty much on top of New Era Wrestling and almost never lost. So, even though it was only by DQ, it was still monumental that I got to pick up a win.

NOTE: Notably, there are no EWA matches listed here. That is because the servers crashed and we lost everything before I ever got the the chance to archive them.
