THE BOY VS. MATT MATHERS
(“Remember Me” by Slim Shady himself begins playing as Matt Mathers makes his way to the entrance ramp. He is met with a mixed reaction from the crowd, stemming from his actions. He hesitates to come to the ring, although a huge smile appears across his face. He waits a few moments, until Dan Coil comes from the back to stand by his side. The two high five and then come down to ringside. Coil waits on the outside as Mathers enters the ring. The bell sounds and the match is underway.
The two men lock up and Mathers gets the early advantage. He begins pummeling Hellings with right hand after right hand until Hellings is against the ropes. He then whips him across the ring and hits him with a drop kick. Hellings gets back up and is hit with another drop kick. He gets up once more and Mathers goes for another drop kick, but Hellings moves and Mathers hits hard on the back of his head. Hellings begins stomping Mathers’ head with a boot until the referee pulls him off. Hellings picks Mathers up and throws him across the ring by his hair. Mathers holds his head in pain as the referee warns Hellings. He throws the ref out of the way and runs to Mathers and begins choking him. The ref counts to five and Hellings doesn’t let go. The ref counts to ten and Hellings still doesn’t let go. He finally drops the hold as he turns to the ref, pointing a finger in his face. Hellings picks him up off the ground and issues a few chops to Mathers’ chest. He whips him into the far corner and Mathers hits hard. He falls to his butt and sits in the corner. Hellings goes over there and ties Mathers’ hands into the ropes. He runs outside the ring and gets the ladder that’s from the previous match. He places it across the face of Mathers and backs into the opposite corner. The referee catches him before he can do anything, giving Coil just enough time to free Mathers and move the ladder. Mathers gets up and picks the ladder up. Coil runs around and pulls the referee out of the ring and begins to argue with him. Hellings turns around and is nailed in the face with a spinning ladder. Mathers goes for the cover as Coil spins the referee around and pushes him back into the ring. 1…2…kickout by ‘The Boy’!
Mathers picks Hellings up by the hair and slams him back down. He picks him up once more and knocks him down hard with a right forearm. Mathers then mounts the top turnbuckle and waits for Hellings to get up. He does and turns around…only to be met with a version of the Buff Blockbuster. Hellings is out, but Mathers hits the back of his head on the mat and is slow to make the cover. He finally does so…
1…2…….kickout by Hellings. Mathers gets up and begins arguing with the referee. Coil gets inside the ring and pulls Hellings to the outside. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a baseball bat. He begins slamming the end into Hellings’ stomach over and over and over. The referee turns around and Coil quickly throws the bat away. He picks Hellings up and rolls him back into the ring. Mathers picks him up and knees him in the stomach. He sets him up and hits with a pedigree. He makes yet another cover. 1…2…………kickout!
Mathers is clearly frustrated. He gets up and in the face of the ref. The referee appears to yell at him and Mathers turns around. He turns back around and nails the referee in the face. With the ref out of it, Coil jumps in the ring and begins to help Mathers double-team Hellings. With Tommy Dee and Damon in the hospital, The Impact Playas have no worries. Sid Vicious appears at the top of the ramp and runs down to the ring. He stops and pulls a table from underneath and slides it inside. The other two hold him up as Sid sets the table up. He then takes Hellings by the throat and choke slams him right through the table. All three men begin to stomp him until Lancelot comes running from the entrance way. He slides into the ring and superkicks Sid Vicious right in the chin. He flies back and lands on top of Matt Mathers as Coil stands there helpless. He swings at Lancelot but is kicked in the gut. Lancelot hoists Coil into a fireman’s carry and swings him around into the Last Joust. He rolls Coil and Vicious both out of the ring as Mathers gets up on his own. He stares Lancelot directly in the eyes. Lancelot points behind him where Hellings is waiting. Hellings grabs Mathers by the throat and issues a choke slam to Hellings!!! The referee comes to just in time to make the count…
1…2…3!! Scott Hellings is once again the RWW Intercontinental Champion!!)
