Designing version 2 of freshertim.co.uk and playing on the dance mats took up much of this week again.
On Tuesday B came round for a catch up chat in the spa and in the evening it was off to Milton Keynes to watch Saturday Night Fever. This was the second time I'd seen the musical. The first was the closing night at the London Palladium a few yrs ago with our prayer and share group which was of course very special so I was slightly apprehensive about seeing the national tour version. But with the best seat in the house, centre seat of the front row of the circle I got to see some of the best disco songs ever written sung brilliantly with some gobsmackingly class dance routines. Very impressed! If you get a chance to catch the tour then go!
Friday saw the final meeting of the youth club for the year. We took a trip to a garden maze that we enjoy hiring for an evening. Lots of crazy fun was had by all including throwing Brandon's american football into the maze and sending people off to find it! Luke and Jon cooked us up a BBQ and afterwards we played crazy team-building games including the 'how many in how small a space???' one below. |
