| 23/04/04 Well it's sure been a mighty valient effort, but I think our playoffs hopes are all but gone. Conceding a penalty in the last minute against Hartlepool may prove to be the decisive point of the season as they look set to knick the last playoff place form us, just as they stole away a 3-3 draw that day. However for a team that has had to put up with a transfer embargo over their heads for the entire season Mike Newell and the boys have done pretty damn well it has to be acknowleged. Hartlepool may not win any of their last 3 games and we might win all 3 but I'm not seeing it, once again the injury list has beaten Luton Town's dreams to a pulp. We shall soldier on and soon with new owners! |
