Ok so everyone, including often myself, seems to get very confused as to who exactly I mean whenever I refer to anybody called "becky" or "bex/becks/becs" or "becca/bekah/becka" so heres an explanation of who is who in FT's world of Bex's. So first off there's my best friend Becky from Luton. Her lil nephews started calling her Auntie B, because Becky has a sister-in-law in our church also called Rebecca Pinner, confusion number 1! So I also called her B, but not Auntie B, cos obviously she's not my auntie. Ok so that seems fine but my dear friend at uni has been nicknamed Becky B up here, cos her surname begins with B. This would be fine if both of these Bex's din't text me from the internet to save phone credit and sign it from B! The other problem with havin my best friend called Becky is that my other friend Becky at church is also my best friend in all but name. I try not to call her my best friend for that exact reason! This is made easier though by the fact that one is named Rebecca and one is named Rebekah. However, both prefer to be known by Becky or Bex! So I try to call one B and one Bek, but still my mum gets confused. However this all isnt helped by the fact that there are other Rebekah's about too. As well as Rebekah from home there is also a Rebekah at uni, who comes on my msn as Beks and always confuses me because I think is Rebekah from home. This wasnt so much of a problem until tonight as Bex from home didnt have msn installed on her computer due to a virus, tonight however it was re-installed! So that makes 2 Bex's in CU, problem? Ok well now add all the others. The very reason for Becky B being called Becky B is that on the cuchat message board there were 2 Beckys, Becky P and Becky B. But of course Becky P is also the initials of my best friend B. To make it even more fun in the CU convent called Hearsall Common next year is that Becca Taylor is moving into Teacher Pauls house and Becca Redfurn is close friends with my housemate Vicki! There is also Becci who does maths with me. The plot thickens when we go to Revelation as Becky P and Becky B are joined by a further Becky! Let's just wait and see how many fresher's share this name too! Talking of Beccas theres still the 2 Beccas, from Manshead last yr, to be mentioned who I'm sure I'll see at various events over the holidays. Still confused? Yeah, me too. |
